    Good that run flat tyres appear to work. I haven't decided whether to keep them or not.

    As an answer, what is the point of buying a car with an expensive 2.5 litre engine and then not using the engine? You would surely be better buying a fully electric car. I will often drive around the city using fully electric but will then use the hybrid system on the motorway. When I arrive at my destination I will again use fully electric.

    I often use the engine to charge the battery and then just plug in at home to top the battery up. Performance is still fine 😃

    As said before, the battery is never out of charge.

    When in eco mode I'm sure "eco" is displayed on left hand side of display. Originally I drove mainly in normal mode but now normally drive in eco. Not sure if there is much of a difference.

    We should all sell our high tax cars and buy a £0 tax or £20 tax car. I briefly had a £20 tax car. I always thought it was hardly worth the effort of paying £20 😅

    Why do we require so many MP's and councillors etc..(who don't seem to achieve much 🙄). We could easily make half redundant and save a fortune 😀

    Totally agree. Tax payer seems to get very little benefit and taxes will no doubt continue to rise 🙄

    I already pay quite a lot of vehicle tax etc. and don't mind too much but it is very annoying when so little of the money is used for maintaining and improving the roads. Some of the main trunk roads in Scotland are an absolute disgrace.

    Unfortunately I think that most cars nowadays are not built to last.

    I have an F Sport and certainly wouldn't call the ride firm. Very comfortable I would call it 😀

    I have found this with a few "modern" cars. I think most cars nowadays are set up for efficiency and maximum MPG (or whatever) so there is a slight delay while the system changes from max. MPG to max. power. Sport mode if you have it, helps a bit.

    In bigger garages there is often a serious communication problem. You phone up and tell the person what the problem is. When you take the car in you again explain the problem to normally a different person. Your car is then worked on by yet another person who does the service / MOT but doesn't even look at the problem that you have highlighted. When you get your car handed back by possibly yet another person they may choose to say "oh it all looks fine" rather than "we have had your car all day but failed to look at your problem" 🙄

    Yes, they do always make it look easy 😅 Not sure if you could just apply the new film over the current one (double protection). Will the current film just peel off? Maybe some heat like a hair dryer would help.

    It would be worth asking your Lexus dealer. Hopefully not some stupid price. I would be tempted to try it myself. Ensure bumper is clean. Ensure film goes on straight with no air bubbles. But as you say, maybe not as easy as it sounds. Good luck 😀

    Great to buy a low mileage, well cared for car. 😀 I bought a 10 year old car with 12,000 miles (a few years ago) it was a great car. Drove like new.

    Maybe test drive both Mazda and NX.

    Insurance is often a rip off. Always something to increase your premium - too young, too old, fast car, old car 🙄🙄

    I have had my NX for nearly a year and no issues as yet. Certainly if I am in the car stopped, it remains in ready mode. I don't bother with ready mode when washing etc. and haven't had a problem. I have left the car unused for over 3 weeks and again, no problems. I don't know about the tyres. It would be worth asking your dealer if they can get tyres easily. Good luck 😀
