    Over the course of 300 miles the car could have an average speed of 20mph. Nowadays we spend a lot of time stationary or in slow traffic (unfortunately!). A new car will often sit stationary for a while while we work out how to turn something on / off 😅 If you take it on a decent drive it should start to increase. There should be a way of resetting the average speed, but don't ask me 😃

    As you say, dipsticks used to be very obvious and give you a simple clear cut. Possibly dipsticks nowadays go round several bends before reaching the oil.

    Checking your oil level used to be very simple but for some reason it seems more complicated nowadays. Just follow the instructions and ensure your car is level. Good luck 😃 After a dealer service I have had low oil level and also overfill so even mechanics find it difficult.

    You possibly have to do a reset. Not sure if disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting would work??

    Latest cars tend to be a bit of a bully. Bring back cars that just "do as they are told" 😅

    For the leather I use Autoglym Leather cleaner and Leather care balm (which smells quite nice 😃).

    If tyre wear is normal I wouldn't bother. I am thinking about getting all 4 wheels checked on our other car as rear tyre wear seems uneven.

    Still no update here as far as I am aware. I am due a service soon and may ask dealer (if I remember 😅).

    Some body shops may want to spray more than the bonnet so that the new paint blends in. Depends on whether you want the cheapest job or the best paint job too.

    If you have a local "we buy any car" they are worth a try. I have tried them twice with different immaculate cars. First time they knocked off £1000 for a couple of stone chips so I traded the car in elsewhere. Second time I tried them they were actually very good so I gave them the car and money was paid within a couple of days. Motorway and others require photos of the car which is slightly more effort. Good luck

    I would think that most of the wiring would be there but I don't think that the heating element in the seat would be there. There are probably a few different seat types that are fitted in the factory (standard/electric/heated etc.) I could be wrong though.

    Interesting to see replies for this. I am currently just using the "normal socket slow charge" as it is not easy to get access to my distribution board. I think your 6mm cable should be OK for up to 7kw. Not sure what Lexus charger is.
