    This is the first time that I have had run flat tyres. (I would rather have a spare wheel!) I believe a lot of BMW owners change to "normal tyres" because of cost and ride quality.

    Might be worth trying some of the "scratch to shine" type companies. Probably cheaper than getting it resprayed. Good luck 😀

    Yes I agree. Not a great selection. Try to get a look at the different colours in case there is one that you like. I was originally going to order black but saw this colour in the showroom and thought it looked nice and a change from black.

    620 miles would be a good range. In the real world you would probably get 500 miles which is what I would want.

    Very annoying but hopefully gets all sorted for you. I'm never that happy parking at dealers as car parks are often full. Good luck with the repairs.

    Shame about the RX insurance. Great that you have got insurance for the NX. I think my excess is similar (higher than I would have liked!)

    My understanding is that the latest NX450 is not affected. Roughly 2022 onwards. Not sure about older models. I haven't had any problems with insurance.

    Good point. Years ago I thought about buying a 7 series BMW (are you allowed to say BMW here 😅) either the 4 litre V8 or 5 litre V12 which must have been a brilliant engine 😃 Both were quite "cheap" after a few years.

    I'm not a fan of Bridgestone or RFT's but am not aware of any great annoying road noise. Given that the NX in electric mode is pretty quiet I'm sure I would have noticed. Some road surfaces are noisier than others so perhaps your area has noisier roads. I'm not suggesting that you should move house 😅. Try the Michelins first 😃
