  1. Does the NX have Wi Fi ? If so, is it free and will I eventually have to pay for it? Thanks.
  2. To be honest, compared with some other manufacturers, Lexus does not have a huge list of options. I think currently there are only 3 options for my interior - white, black or red. The colour, trim and options are clearly shown on the order form (which was obviously signed a year ago).

  4. I actually like black. My last 3 cars have been black. They look great but difficult to keep clean.
  5. As said above, just let your Lexus dealer deal with it all. They should advise what is required and when. Just enjoy driving your new Lexus 😀
  6. This has certainly crossed my mind - car arrives with the wrong interior and they just hope I don't notice or complain. You would certainly think that someone checks the cars as they arrive at the dealer.
  7. Sorry to hear about that. Did Lexus deal with the problem well? Was your dealer aware of the problem or did you discover the wrong interior when you opened the door (as I did). You would think that the car would be checked at Derby and at the dealer to ensure that the spec. is correct. As you say, starting the waiting process again is probably a step too far 🙈
  8. Unfortunately it is the whole interior (the seats, door panels and glove box cover etc.) As far as I am aware you can spec the NX with red, white or black.
  9. That is my main point. You can buy a pre registered car (with a good discount) that has spec. or colours that wouldn't be your first choice.
  10. Very true. My last car had a light interior and I was quite careful not to mark it. I have had "technician oily marks" on a couple of cars which is very annoying - especially with an expensive car.

  12. Thanks for your reply. I hadn't even thought that somewhere in the "small print" it allows them to change the spec. but you are probably correct. I spent nearly 4 hours at the dealer. A loan car was NOT available. They could possibly get the correct car for February next year. I might ask about a space saver wheel. Hopefully I eventually enjoy it 😀
  13. After waiting for a year, my new NX was delivered with the wrong interior. I ordered a white interior but was given black. I sold my own car yesterday (privately) so have taken the wrong spec. car. Has anyone had any similar experiences with Lexus? Thanks.

  15. I ordered the white interior but got the black interior. The dealer doesn't know how the mix up happened but thought that I could possibly get the correct car by February next year (if I wanted to wait....again!)
  16. After waiting for a year, I have finally collected my car. I would love to tell you about the great handover experience and how it is brilliant to drive 🙈 The car did look great, all shiny 😁, however when I opened the door it has got the wrong interior 🙈🙈🙈. I really can't believe, after waiting a year I now have a car that I didn't really "want". I'm still feeling a bit "shell shocked" 🙈 but hopefully I will feel better tomorrow 😀
  17. I collected my car today and was told that Lexus no longer supply locking wheel nuts (or bolts). They said that this applies to all models.
  18. I agree. I have been waiting almost a year BUT hopefully collecting the car tomorrow ☺️
