  1. It is not a disaster. The dealer should register once they complete the fitting and provide them (Tracker) with your contact details, who will then email you with the necessary details - fitting of the Tracker and GEO and the email attaching the documents all happened on the same day in my case. Yes, I have been frustrated in recent times with the level of customer care and the product compared with my earlier 20 plus years of Lexus ownership, but I will give them credit where its due especially as I have a Gen 2 NX not subject to the CANBUS attacks and both Lexus HO and the local Lexus dealer contacted me offering these free of charge.

  3. As I noted many posts previous, you are incorrect, I had both a tracker and GEO fitted to a late 2022 Gen 2 NX in one visit
  4. As I noted above mine is a late 2022 build, but the dealer has offered a tracker plus other security enhancements which are being fitted next week.
  5. I meant to also add, the NX's impacted (by CANBUS) are those produced during the following time frame: 09/17 to 10/21.

I have an appointment next week for a recall at which the dealer will also fit a tracker together with some further security updates - was originally booked in this week but Lexus UK has released further updates and the dealer is awaiting for the parts to arrive, hence the delay until next week. Both Lexus UK and the dealer have confirmed that my 2022 built NX is not susceptible to the CANBUS injection theft, which ties in with the Lexus press release. Maybe they are reacting to those of us who continually complain to Lexus UK HO and the dealer about the shocking after sales customer service in recent years - this from a Lexus owner of various models over 20 years.
  7. Has anyone else been offered a tracker for a Gen 2 NX - my 350h is going in for the ZGG47 recall and the dealer will fit a Lexus supplied tracker free of charge. I had assumed only Gen 1 models would be offered one as part of the CANBUS campaign.
  8. But there are labels on the doors from new and surely Lexus Ipswich told you on hand over how to open doors in an emergency, it is part of their hand over procedure
  9. I had the same message on Monday afternoon, but nothing yesterday or today.
  10. Same as anything, once you become aware of a defect or fault however minor and immaterial you can't stop noticing and it then becomes obvious. As for me, I don't consider this significant enough for a warranty claim due to the potential downsides (rattles etc, as you mentioned) but hope your replacement goes well. I suspect there are many others with the same problem but unless you are in the right light and indeed siting in the passenger seat would not even notice.
  11. Looks like a smaller crease on the other side as well, checked my 350h and I also have these creases although only really noticeable (at the moment) when in my garage without any lighting on.
  12. Nice to read a positive comment on this forum, there are so many negative comments posted on Lexus customer care.
  13. Same here for my 350h ordered in Jan 22 from the Ipswich Centre, kept up to date until delivery in Nov 22.
