Thanks Lance that's really useful. I will get it up on the ramps and give it a whirl. The plugs sound interesting.....

Guys, A bit of advice please and apologies if this advice is elsewhere on the site but I cannot find it. I am looking to do a DIY service replacing the oil/filter, air filter and spark plugs. Is there a walkthrough on here or does anyone have one giving me an idea of how to do it on my is200. I have done it on other cars but not this one so have a basic idea. I am unsure where exactly the oil filter is..!!! I have looked but bizarrely cannot find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I had this and as well as wiggling it in and out manually I sprayed wd40 in the gap where it hinges. After a few attempts it sorted it.
Cheers guys. The problem has somehow rectified itself. When I started the car yesterday the mirror went back into position, obviously a bit of muck of frozen.
have a good one ....... :)

Earlier today after parking up my IS200 I couldn't get the drivers side wing mirror to open again after 'folding' them in when parking. When I pressed the button the passenger side moves however the drivers side is jammed shut. I have a 200 sport 'Y' reg. HELP..... Any ideas !!!

the Battery is compltely dead on my is200. I have tried charging it but this was no use, so going to buy a new one. Does anyone know if there are any likely probs with changing it myself???
The last thing I want is an expensive trip to my local dealer after doing what is a relatively straight forward job.
