    Just picked up my new Lexus. Actually mentioned this issue and was assured it would not happen. It does and will not accept my login on the car to fix it.

    Well finally got my car. Great drive .. except for the continuous messages profile not linked, enter password. I had read of that issue on here but was assured at dealer it would not happen. Not a good start. Now to search here for the solution.

    With the key ripoff, I have learned that I cannot trust Lexus nor Lexus dealers. Very tempted to just walk away and go back to German cars.

    Nextbase have a current offer on both their 622 elite two camera setup and installation. So around £460 all in, done at your home. Anti shake seems good.

    I see in another U.K. owners group, an NX was delivered last Tuesday with 2 fobs, and card key, yet another with just 1 fob and metal key. Both made in Japan at the same time. It does make you wonder if it is priority customers or priority dealers.

    I see Nextbase will come to your home and fit cameras. Front and rear for £120. So current all up price for the 620 front and rear elite package is just £460 inc fitting. Is there any advantage in having Lexus garage do it, indeed do they just get Nextbase to do it at the garage and charge extra?

    Is the Lexus dashcam app compatible? And is physical size not an issue? The 620 seems larger than those that used to be fitted by Toyota.

    When I ordered my NX450h+ Takumi, the specification include a Card Key in addition to key fobs. A credit card shaped key with no buttons. This is being supplied in other countries in addition to the one key fob. Is it still being supplied in the U.K. ?     Ordered 27/9/22, my NX450h+ Takumi has arrived at dealer in Carlisle. 😀 Just talked to dealer. It has not actually arrived yet but they are expecting it in next few days. The email signed as from the dealer was probably sent out by Lexus U.K. and is false news 🤣 However I have arranged to collect the car a week today.

    I was certainly reassured when my insurance company (NFU) substantially reduced my costs from current 2020 RAV4. Can only assume much better security fitted on the NX450h+ which I should be getting in two weeks time.

    Rang up NFU to change from my existing cover to my new NX450h+ Takumi and to my amazement was told I would be getting a refund. The Lexus is less to insure than my RAV4.

    Already left port and now not far from Alicante. On track for Bristol on the 12th.

    My new 450h+ is having a stopover in Spain, just a couple of hours up from my second home there. But I am having to drive back to collect her in a couple of weeks, hopefully, after unloading in Bristol.

    In some countries such as Spain, it is required to have lights on if wipers are in use for rain.

    I specifically said No to mudflats on my NX450+ Takumi order. May be different on my prior BMW but the extra wind noise and higher fuel consumption was not worth the slight reduction in cleaning time after ceramic coat. Useful to get some base figures now for comparison then you may find you prefer to take them off after eventually getting them fitted. 😉

    I watched him simply tap a few keys to get the status of my order. Lexus U.K. have been very helpful so well worth just asking them. Heritage Leader is doing over 18kts and well into Arabian Sea

    Well I have found the name of my ship. It actually shipped the same day that I received notification that it had left the factory

    Dealer is only allowed to replace one lost key each day. 😉

    Nothing new. I remember my father having to wait over 2 years for his delivery of one of the first Ford Zephyr Sixs. Was worth waiting for, 70 years ago.
