Anybody fitted an aftermarket dog guard to the new NX? OEM Guard seems expensive @£234.00

Thanks for the info, do all cars go via Derby? Ours is a lease purchase so we never went to a Dealer but I believe the Dealership processing the order is Derby so this would make sense if it's a national hub. We also specced a towbar so perhaps this will need fitting at Derby before we get the call.

Just interested to know if anybody else here is on the Grand Phoenix due into Bristol tonight and onward to Derby? I can't track in the app so would be interested to hear any status updates going forward.

I am a little premature in joining this group as I ordered my new Lexus NX350h in June with a projected delivery date of June 2023 which I did find disappointing to say the least. I understand that Lexus are now not taking any further orders for this model until further notice so my hopes for an improved delivery date have been well and truly dashed. In fact on a Facebook forum I have seen a number of negative delivery comments from customers that ordered when this model was launched last November with a promised delivery date in March 2022 but are still waiting so not good news.
Welcome, i joined early too! Lots of good info and advice. I had no idea you could track the vehicle as ours was a lease order. From reading about other members experiences i was able to get a VIN number, quick call to Lexus Customer Services and i have been happily tracking the Ship from Japan over the last few weeks. Even managed to get a glimpse from a web cam on Gibraltar! My other half says i'm obsessed, she may have a point!

If it uses the same key as the previous NX, you can turn the key signal off. You press and hold the lock button, then press the unlock button twice. It means you have to use the unlock button next time you use the car, but it definitely works.
Good job the SKE comes as standard rather than a paid option if I'm going to be turning it off!

DEFINATELY NOT.!!!!! Have you not heard of Relay theft ? Thieves come along with a piece of kit Which can trace your keys inside your home Then transmit the signal to a blank keyfob .Then there off with your car...Get two faraday pouches one for your spare key and the other for everyday use and keep that one in your bedroom ..ALSO get a Milenco steering wheel lock and always put it on at night..Its the Business ( Around £64 from Halfords ) Also install a ring outdoor camera which will protect your car 24/7 The subscription is £3.49 per month but well worth it.
Dont get me Wrong if a real Professional car thief fancies your car He will get it..But in the main your up against Petty opportunist car Thieves .So Dont make it easy for them.. Hope this helps jon..Ron ps The Milenco steering wheel lock is in my opinion the best security wheel lock Google it and you will see what i mean......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, heard of it, was hoping the manufacturers might have found a solution since the last time I was in the market for a new car. I've got CCTV, a consequence of previous thefts, but that Milenco device certainly looks like a good bit of kit.

That’s the date the dealership gave me on Thursday. If it does dock at Portbury on the 14th, all the better 👍
Perhaps they're trying to buy themselves an extra couple of weeks to sort out the paperwork!

My NX350h F Sport was ordered at the end of November ‘21. It’s currently on the Viking Adventure which is docking in Spain this evening and an ETA of 24th at Portbury. EDD is second week of November. Make sure your dealer speaks to Lexus regarding compensation for the frustrating delays as they seem quite happy to give you £500.
Is that date right, I'm hoping mine is on that ship but I found this on the Port's website.

@Chance521 Interested to know which option you went/go for? We're one of the unfortunate many awaiting delivery of our new NX which was supposed to be delivered in July.
NX 2022 delivery date
in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club

Towbar probably means I'm being a but optimistic for a two week turnaround then although the latest info from the lease company of 19/12 also seems excessive given the vehicle landed in Portbury on Wednesday.
