  1. I was ill for a few days and when I went to my car, the birds had taken a liking to the bonnet so I took it to be washed. And now I have marks on the bonnet where the birds had used it as a public toilet. I paid for Suragard and also used a bird lime remover but it's still there. Now I called Lexus and said they will get back to me. Anyone else ever had this problem?
  2. Ghost now fitted and all is well. Can sleep a little easier now.

  4. I had one fitted but had it taken out as some safety features did not work, but the man from Autowatch said that they were not working on that part of the system. They spent most of the day trying to get more two buttons to work as the pass code and run the 12 volt battery down and that could had an effect. Lexus checked the car and all is well. Autowatch say it is good to fit.

  9. Back from my holidays and booked to have a Ghost fitted on Tuesday. I did park in a private and very secure underground car park for 10 days due to paranoia. So will update all when it’s done.
  10. I was thinking to cancel my order for flaps. I have had the car nearly 3 months and done over 2200 miles in that time and yet no news from Lexus about my order. Still love the car.

  12. I do think some dealers are telling us stuff so they don’t have to bother. Once they have our money they can make it up or maybe Lexus is not telling them what is what and when and maybe.
  13. Sorry Harry, someone may have given you the wrong information as I got my NX450 30th June this year with the owners manual but without the fob and the locking wheel nuts (Bolts). We should all try and not let this crazy stupid world ruin for us what are great cars bloody expensive, but great cars.

  17. It is marginally bigger like the rest of the car and I do think the boot space is a little higher. The parcel shelf is flimsy and as Ken said not as good.
  18. NX450+ boot is 521 litres and the NX300h boot is 475 litres. Hope that helps.
  19. Update about me having a ghost fitted. I booked the guy who was honest about fitting it and he came and put the ghost in, and after three hours it was done. The problem was only one button would work to put a code in. A few days later he came back with someone from Autowatch and they spent hours working on the button issue they resolved it and had multiple buttons for the code. But had a problem with the LTE which would not turn off, they told me that the ghost was not on that part of the Lexus system but they were looking for buttons. The person from Autowatch came back to try to fix the problem and after hours of work could not fix’s it and took the ghost out. The problem seemed to fix itself just by driving the car and took the car to Lexus and they checked the whole system and found nothing. I will park it at work when I go on holiday and will have the Ghost fitted when I return. The service from both the Ghost people was excellent.
  20. My NX450 that I got at the end of June 23 came with both a manual and a service record. So I think the dealer is right.
  21. Why does Lexus always give us in the UK and maybe the EU a cheaper app than the good old USA.
