If this is the case, then surely Lexus GB, should, perhaps monitor this forum, as a window to what the majority of Lexus owners require, and act accordingly. After all if Lexus GB and Lexus Europe were to monitor, both LOC UK and LOC Europe, it would be to their long term advantage by acting on what the average Lexus owner requires, by expanding the range of cars, and giving a manual gearbox as option on some models. they do monitor this site peter......so its baffling why they dont take notice Mind boggling comes to mind Mat

Paul, as I understand it The mk1GS has a three speed box and the mk2 a four speed, but the O/D, when engaged, gives the extra gear, so obviously the Aristo has a better spec

Being a Mk1 it has a three speed auto box the O/D button, when engaged gives you the equivalent of a fourth gear.....I always keep it on, and occasionally switch it off to slow down as this in effect drops the box down a gear..........If towing the O/D should be switched off Fuel Capacity is 80 litres or 17.6 imperial Gallons Hope this is of some help
