A client of mine almost lost her horse through poisoning, the Vets bill was huge, but luckily, she had the horse insured with Equine and Leisure , who paid most of the Vets bill, but the last two payments have not arrived.
She rang them, and they said they have lost all the records due to a fire, gave them all the info once again.
A couple of weeks passed, and still no money, she rang again and all the lines were dead.
Meanwhile her DD had come out of her Bank account, but she still cannot contact the insurance company. She is now worried about riding her horse out just in case she is not insured.
The addy for E & L is P.O. box 100, York, YO26 9SZ. I looked up the post code for the proper address, and it is not in the Post Offices data bank.
Is there any LOC members who live in, or around York who can help my client with info about this firm, ie was there a fire, have they gone bust, or any other info so she can either go to the ombudsman to get her money back, or write it off and change insurance firms.
She desperately wants to get out riding again now that the weather is getting better.
