Hi there mate i work at vw at the back of them. When our wheel alignment ramp is out of order we use them very good dont miss a trick.

Hi there mate in some cases when the oil light dose'nt go out its usually a faulty level sensor in which case its replaced.Lexus design may differ and this is not a very common fault for VW.
-
Hi there mate working for VW i have seen this but with the bonnet not the door. The oil level sensor gets a signal from the bonnet switch to say the level has been topped up and then resets itself sending the light off.

My gearbox isn't a mega issue for me although i did get the clunk from 1st to 2nd on the odd accation but most of all the whining noise. To try and cure this i used ZX1 which is an addative and i think its great stuff and so far its spot on and not been a problem.

If you know which cylinder is missing try changing that coil pack to another cylinder if then that cylinder starts to misfire you know its the coil pack if it stays with the original cylinder then get a compression check :)

some pics of the LS430 on a GS. The GS is similar to the IS, although the mounting points are slightly different.
Where did you get the brackets from to mount the calipers and how much are the calipers?

Tell me the date of manufacturing of the brake lines. It is printed on the banderole.
What does "first set for is200" mean? Are they very old?
Goodridge had them listed on there website but was told by the sales team they have never made a set for the is200 before so these would be the first for that model. As for a date they have been made in the last two weeks.

Hi all orded some goodridge hoses last night on the net and today i got a call from one of the guys telling me that the hoses where only availible with zinc plated steel fittings. The lines themselves are stainless steel which is ok for me he said there is not enough demand to make the fittings in stainless. The kit is well cheap at £51.70inc vat but plus delivery colours also cost extra. You have a choice of 14 colours. I spoke to the chap of a posiible group buy and he will offer a 10% discount if there is enough interest .Im going to wait until mine have arived the i can put some pics on to show you all(could be 14 days as they have never made a set for the is200)
