Service mileage discrepancy
Colinb623 replied to Colinb623's topic in Lexus IS 300h / IS 250 / IS 200t Club
No symptoms of any ECU issues over the last 2 years . Car has been flawless to be honest . I just found it very odd that the service technician could see the mileage on the clock visually as 96234 miles and stamped that in the booklet, yet the Service report I received back when paying said 92925miles and the Hybrid Health re rest 5 weeks later had 97253miles on the report -
Service mileage discrepancy

101 070 miles on car now . Service done at 96234 miles and this is stamped in service booklet. Service receipt I was given on the day of the service states the mileage is 92925miles which I was told was obtained from the ECU Hybrid health re check done 5 weeks later states the mileage is 97253 which I was told was obtained from the ECU Discrepancy is the huge difference between what the service technicians documented on the service booklet, the service due again sticker on my door and mileage printed on the service receipt. Lexus rang me this eve and asked me to drop the car back in to have the ECU re scanned and try and rectify the problem . I appreciated the phone call but they offered no explanation as to why this happened -
Service mileage discrepancy

Lexus Service really not impressing me now .:( They claim the ECU Read 92925 miles when I initially dropped the car in for its serviced . This is also printed on the doc they gave me. I just checked the Hybrid Health re check paper work which I had done 5 weeks after the initial service and it states 97235 miles. ( lexus asked me to drive the car for 500 miles to re do hybrid health check ) So in 5 weeks I put up 4000 plus miles .!!!!!!! I'm sorry but this dealership is taking the micky . -
Service mileage discrepancy

Raised with the lexus dealer concerned but to be honest slow at replying as I think they now realise the mistake . Hopefully they can resolve -
A bit miffed about a fairly decent discrepancy in the mileage marked on my service booklet and itemised service receipt issued by Lexus . Service booklet is stamped as service done at 154875km. Itemised receipt states service done at 92925 miles which is 149548km. Lexus Relax warranty email states ensure car is returned for next service by 164516km which is only 10 000km interval . Lexus Service department are not much help to be honest , they are just interested in booking the car in for a service . Disappointed to say the least and a bit alarming that there is such a discrepancy from the service team. Anyone experience of this?

Hi . Just looking for some info . I had a service done at Lexus Main Dealer at 154 000kms on my 2016 F sport . I've only recently noted that the next service is down as due at 164000kms . Which is only 10 000kms . Does this seem a short interval ?

Appreciate your answer . I did clean my hybrid fan also at one point last year .I didn't think this would trigger a code .my dash has never showed codes or lights . Hopefully when I return all will be OK. Thanks again for the reply -

Thanks everyone for your answers . It's put my mind at ease somewhat. It took me by surprise that it failed the hybrid health check but then again it seems the hybrid system is more complicated than I thought . I was fearing the worst to be honest . Hopefully the retest will pass it as Hybrid Healthy after I put up 500 or so miles 👍 -

Thanks all for replies Also on this I never received a confirmation text, email or paper work about my car now being covered under Lexus Relax Warranty. Although the service guy said it was covered -

Thanks BoB for your reply . Can I ask you , was it one journey of 400 miles or a few journeys to build up 400 miles ? -
Failed Hybrid Health Check :( IS300H
Colinb623 replied to Colinb623's topic in Lexus IS 300h / IS 250 / IS 200t Club
Hi Moleman On average about 50 -70 miles at the weekend. -
Just had my IS300H f sport back from the lexus main dealer after a full service and was met with a failed hybrid health check due to a P3000 diagnostic code . I've been driving the car for 12 months and it's been flawless. No issues with the Hybrid system and no engine lights or codes on dash . The Lexus dealer told me to drive the car for 500km and return it to them for a free Hybrid Health Check and if it passes they will put the 12 month Hybrid warranty on it as per usual . I was told I'm not driving the car enough , as I only drive it on a Sat and Sunday. Is this a major worry or has anyone had this before with their IS ?

IS300H increase in value
Colinb623 replied to Colinb623's topic in Lexus IS 300h / IS 250 / IS 200t Club
They have increased big time in price . Infact I would be in a healthy profit if I sold my 2016 F sport is300h now . But I will keep it as I like it too much :). -

That was some bargin at 18k euro ! -
To update this thread again , 3 weeks after my last post . The issue never Really resolved itself fully . So yesterday I took all apart again . And fitted new pads , re greased slide pins, very lightly .it seems I had too much silicone grease on the pins and they were almost locked in with suction . Anyways the new pads seem to be contacting the disc alot better now and the car is in fact braking better . Tip of the day ,, don't over grease caliper slide pins :(

Hi all I've recently noted the private market increase in asking price for the IS300H lately . Has anyone else noted this ? Some 2014/2015 plate F sports are just shy of the 20k bracket ..(euros)

4 wheel alignment done and 2 new rear tyres . Seemingly the side with the badly worn rear tyre was way off track . Should be all OK now . How can a wheel be thrown off track that much I'm wondering. Surely pot holes don't do that much mis alignment of suspension??

Drivers side inner wall was eaten .went with a new back set of tyres . I'm just wondering is this a tracking issue ? Passenger side was fine
