  1. I’ve not joined in here of late but here’s my last night’s charge results. It’s the lowest we’ve recorded so far this winter but no doubt will decline further in the weeks to come. Last actual achieved in EV mode was 38
  2. Add to that the “bee in a bonnet” that car journalists have about the CVT gearbox. They just copy each others remarks because they don’t know how to drive a hybrid car with this type of box. I previously had a RX450h and agree with the 2 posters immediately above this one re the exemplary customer care and service from my chosen dealer
  3. ===ditto== 👍 Seems the way to go with DL
  4. What’s wrong with your CarPlay? Mines been perfect since day 1 15months ago
  5. Great news Deb, enjoy the car and I hope that the dealership goodies were substantial enough to compensate for the set backs endured
  6. I’ve used it on our F Sport 450h but only to test it, I honestly can’t say it is something that I would want to use in normal driving conditions. As @Gaazzared mentions, I think you need ACC to be on then there’s a switch on the steering wheel which turns lane trace on/off. When everything is set the car will change lanes with the use of the indicator. That’s why I can’t understand the point of many of these gizmos, you need to use the indicator so why not just nudge the wheel a little at the same time? 🙄
  7. From memory 🤔 there is an icon on the camera screen which toggles this function on/off. Ill take a look tomorrow if you haven’t sorted it
  8. Not a London branch and for the NX not UX.
  9. @Ammu Don’t be surprised if National Windscreens say they can’t recalibre everything correctly on the day. We had to book our NX in to the dealers (at NW’s expense) to be finally recalibrated because NW didn’t have the correct boards for the latest models.
  10. Fingers crossed for you Deb 👍, hopefully you will soon be driving around with a big wide smile on your face 🙏. Keep looking forward, don’t look back.
  11. In true Meatball fashion -“you took the words right out of my mouth” Well from my fingertips, I was just about to post the same observation, ‘recalls’ are shown as ‘repairs’ with no further definition. Hopefully this will be corrected shortly since this section could hinder a potential future sale.
  12. Had the notification today that the old app will cease to exist shortly and advising to download the new one., which I have done. A shame really since the now ‘old’ app has been working a treat whilst you guys have been beta testing the new one. Every single journey over the past 3 months or so appeared within a couple of hours of completing. Lock/unlock instructions worked fine as did presetting CC etc. Now for the frustrations with the new one 🙄🤞
  13. I mentioned about LKA in the NX forum late last year. I actually believe that the Lexus system is dangerous if you forget to switch it off when driving on narrow country lanes. Around where we live there are numerous country lanes which are hardly wide enough for a car and HGV to pass each other and are devoid of the white middle line in sections. The system also ‘looks’ for the near edge of the road and on at least 3 occasions, when I had forgotten to switch LKA off, when manoeuvring towards the edge of the road to allow room for an approaching HGV to pass the car tried to pull me away from the edge of the road towards the path of the HGV. I have voiced my concerns about this so called safety feature to both my dealer and to Lexus whose response has been “but you can turn it off before & during driving”……………yes I know that but (maybe it’s me who is a bit absent minded) sometimes I forget! Whilst LKA may be a legal requirement, the pull on the steering wheel is not. A simple bleep would suffice.
  14. I don’t get your point 🤔 - Tariff works whether daytime usage is 2kwh or 50kwh.
  15. If you say so 🙄 My current Octopus Go tariff 9.00p KWh (00.30 - 04.30) 31.03p kWh Day rate Day rate penalty is 0.31p KWh (normal rate 30.72p kWh) hence well worth being on the tariff Do the maths based upon 14kwh to charge the car 4x/week and normal daytime usage of 12kwh/day
  16. My current Octopus Go tariff 9.00p KWh (00.30 - 04.30) 31.03p kWh Day rate Day rate penalty is 0.31p KWh (normal rate 30.72p kWh) hence well worth being on the tariff
  17. I negotiated 3 years free servicing when I agreed to buy our 450h+
  18. Yes it is worryingly Malcom but at a guess I would say that your dealer is stating what was intended and believed to be the case whilst my dealer is stating the reality of Lexus failing to deliver on their intentions
  19. Do you know if Ghost consumes any energy when activated and the car is stood idle for a few days. It has crossed my mind whether the small 12v battery can cope🤔
  20. Apparently the same, which is presumably why only dealers can do it atm
  21. New map updates are usually issues 2x per year. Next one is due Nov & when I asked recently my dealer said to book it in & they will do it since OTA updates aren’t available due to the time required for an update to take place
  22. I’ll be a little more blunt……….definitely not wise to share any pics on here. New member & first post is “can I see pictures of the plate fitted?” Sorry Andon, you may well be genuine but surely you can see the potential problem
  23. That’s exactly what I am doing Ken. The “old” app, my current one, works 99% ok for me so until all you who have downloaded the new one have thoroughly beta tested it for Lexus I’m sticking with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it” vibe🙄
  24. If the UX behaves like the 2022 NX then it is definitely not good practice to leave the car in accessory mode to listen to the radio. Why, well from my own experience just a moment before the battery gives up the car makes a few noises, some dash lights flicker and then it locks itself. As mentioned above, you then can’t not only start it but you can’t open any doors. I’ve had this happen twice when fitting & refitting a dash cam and had the pleasure of being locked inside the car with the only way of escape being to climb through the car, release the back of the rear seats and clamber in to the boot where there is a manual way of opening the boot. Not an exit process I can recommend 🙄
