    I had a black Audi A6 with a, what I think was described as, a tan interior about 12 or so years ago. It's one of my favourite exterior/interior combos. Looking at the pictures of the Lexus Hazel interior I'd say the Audi was a couple of shades or more darker. Not sure what "1970s Tan" was. I'm not old enough to remember that 😁

    The only certainty is that you will see a car in the colour combination you didn't order soon after ordering and think to yourself how good it looks 😁 I've seen a blue with a light coloured interior (not sure it was white, maybe a cream?) and I have to say it looked spectacular to me. I certainly think that the blue is a more striking colour than the grey.

    The 450s do seem to be on a quicker track than the 350s for some reason. As I have a 350 on order, I think that's a disgrace. If I had a 450 on order I'd think it was entirely reasonable 😀

    Oh my gosh! I can't imagine ever doing that to a new car. I have a loathing for squeaks and rattles in cars and I'd be terrified I'd introduce one. No criticism intended, it's your car and you can do what you want with it. More a recognition of my own very limited DIY skills.

    Ah, right, thanks. I have the cassette roller type in my current car (Mercedes E Class Estate) and that's nice - although quite heavy to remove. Like you though, it's not something I'll stress about too much.

    Just saw my first one in the wild this morning. Celestial Blue - couldn't tell if it was a 350 or 450. In Solihull on the Stratford Road near Tesco if anybody wants to claim it 😁

    Maths never was my strong point 😀 At least it seems like the message to the two of us was consistent; 7 months initially, then 8. I was told 8 about 5 weeks ago and it hasn't changed since then, if that's any consolation.

    I ordered January 24th and have been given an estimated delivery date of mid-September (originally mid-August, then updated) so maybe things have improved somewhat?

    Totally agree with Ian. Everybody will have their own needs, wants and budget. So long as you're happy with your choice, that's all that matters. I ordered an NX350h, with premium pack and Lexus Link Pro. There were some things that would have been nice to have (HUD, for example), but I couldn't justify the cost for me.

    Thanks. I watched this and it is excellent. Each section of the video is tagged with what it's about (the timeline as Phillip says) so it's easy to skip the parts that aren't of interest to you (e.g. I've ordered an NX without the HUD, so I could skip that section and just watch the non-HUD equivalent). Obviously, it's American so there are some spec differences, but if you know the spec you have/have ordered you can easily find the information you need. Part 2 is about the infotainment system mainly I think and I'm very much looking forward to it.
