  1. Nice! Enjoy! I'd love to see some interior photos if you don't mind doing that.
  2. I must admit that worried me a bit as well. However, my experience is that it meant that the money was in my bank very quickly (as I said, within minutes of the car being assessed). If you really don't want to do that it might be worth calling their help desk; I'm sure you won't be the only person that balks at that.
  3. And just dropped the car off. Took about half an hour, price offered online was honoured (and that was based on their highest condition category) and money was in my bank literally as I walked out the door. All in all, very impressed.
  4. Cazoo offered the best price for my Mercedes E Class Estate. Seems like the best policy is to try all of them!
  5. About 50 NX? Maybe that's why we can't get ours delivered!
  6. Congratulations. Looks great. What colour is that?
  7. Given that my NX350h ordered 24/01/22 has an expected delivery date of Feb/March '23 that seems about right. But given the dates other people are getting I'd say that "you know as much as we do" is more realistic!
  8. Ditto. I ordered in late January and have been told, in order, August, September, October, April '23, October '23 (!) and finally February/March '23. Why are people seemingly getting accelerated delivery?
  9. I don't have a personal plate. I'd only really want one that was truly meaningful (SF1, for example) and they are way, way outside my price range. I don't know if it's because I've been noticing Lexus' more since I ordered one, but it does seem to me that a Lexus is more likely to have a personal plate than most other cars. Is that true?
  10. When I got my first update from Leasing Options after ordering they mentioned that it was going into a dealer near me. I asked what dealer that was and they told me. I had test driven an NX at Birmingham Lexus but I just looked up their number and spoke to Sales, who put me through to their fleet ordering department. As I said, they were very helpful and the order, despite being through Leasing Options, had my name associated with it.
  11. Update on my position. Having by told by Leasing Options that my delivery date had gone out to October 2023 (ordered January 2022) I called the Lexus dealer that my car is being delivered to for their input. They told me that they have a delivery date of February 2023 for my car. On talking to Leasing Options by phone they told me that the October date was a mistake and that February is correct. On confirming by mail though, they suggested that the October date was communicated to them as a "safety net" date. So, still a very confused situation, all in all. If the October date was a mistake or a temporary update, at least the February date is earlier than the April 2023 I was give a few weeks ago, so maybe things are getting better. On a separate note, this was the first time I had contacted Lexus Birmingham after ordering and I have to say that I found them to be very, very good and eager to help as much as they could. I was actually very impressed with them and the guy I spoke to in their fleet ordering department gave me his direct number to contact him in the future.
  12. Presuming you mean Nov 22, that's 13 months. I'm up to 21 and counting!
  13. Interestingly, here's a screenshot of Leasing Options website offering the exact car I ordered with a December delivery ( for a lot more money than I signed up for, naturally)!
  14. Mine, see post above yours, was also through Leasing Options. Most people getting cars quicker seem to have ordered 450s, not 350s I think. And, obviously, their money is somehow better than ours! Personally, as I said, I don't think that Lexus have any intention of building 350s ordered at the lower price point any more and that delivery dates will keep going out until we all give up. Very poor behaviour from a company that seems to pride itself on its customer service *hollow laugh*.
  15. OK. So I'll see your May '23 and raise you. Just received a mail from my leasing broker that my 350h ordered in January '22 now has a provisional delivery to the dealer date of October '23! And they are very much at pains to point out that is a provisional date and likely to change! I really have no idea why Lexus are still advertising the NX so much when they're clearly not in a position to actually deliver any in anything approaching a sensible timescale. My theory is that they simply don't want to honour orders placed late last year/early this year so they are prioritising later orders at higher prices. Pretty shoddy practice!
  16. Seems unfair! Only joking, I guess there'll always be anomalies, but I did order through a lease company and I'm still semi-convinced that they've screwed up the order in some way. I spent some time talking to the lease company late last week and spent some time this weekend looking at other options. The upshot is, that I'll wait for the Lexus. Nothing else I saw seemed as good. I did quite like the Mercedes GLC, but not as much and that would have cost me around £5k extra (through having to use the equity in my current Mercedes as a deposit to bring the monthly costs down rather than realise that equity at the end of the PCP period). We reckon we can manage with one car for a while and I'll hire something as and when I need to. It had better be a damn good car when I do get it!
  17. 🤣 I ordered in January and have an April 2023 delivery date - so, I doubt cars ordered in February are starting build now!
  18. Congratulations. Shame about the interior, and I'd be pretty cheesed off with that. But at least you got a car! Hope you enjoy it and let us know how you like it once you've driven it a bit more.
  19. S**t indeed! The lease company are going to give me a call later to discuss options, but I doubt I will be getting a Lexus NX now. Hopefully for the rest of you it is the lease company that's dropped the ball somehow in the ordering of the car. It does seem a lot longer than most people are being quoted so maybe that's the case (not that that helps me!).
  20. Just had an update via the lease company for my 350h ordered 24th January. Expected delivery of April 2023 (but no guarantee)!!
  21. Blimey, that would be great. I ordered 24th January and have never been given a delivery date that soon (started off as August, then September, latest update of October) so that seems wildly out of kilter with my (and most other people's) experience so far, but, I hope it happens for you - please keep us informed.
  22. I'll be interested in what the dealer has to say to you. From memory, I think you ordered in early February. I ordered a 350 in late January so we should be on similar timescales.
  23. I wouldn't bank on it. 450's do seem to have shorter lead times than 350's for some reason.
