Same happened to me. The car was sat outside the dealers on the transporter on 28 Jan, but the dealer’s system was still showing 22 Feb delivery date.

I had a door rattle in my NX 350h Takumi. Dealer heard same noise and thought it was something loose in the door too. It turned out to be a loose bracket on the Panoramic roof which they packed with felt and re-torqued. Moral of the tale….. take it back to the dealer and get them to confirm they can hear it. Then let them investigate and fix it. Mine was sorted in one half-day visit and they loaned me a car for the day.

Almost certainly not the same fit. If you search cross bars you can see my Lexus ones. I am recently having some success with placing my iPhone 12 Pro (in a thick silicone case) on the charging pad and getting it to charge for the whole journey! The secret for me is that when I place the phone on the pad I move it until there is a faint sound like a CD drive moving. At that point the charger seems to be locked on. It charged for two 20 minute drives today.

I assume that you mean for the pre 2022 NX? Thule do not currently supply Cross Bars for the 2022 NX.

Nothing. I rang my dealer on 14 April to tell them that mine has the recall for spot welds…… still waiting for them to call me in for the check.

As You know, Ken, mine has been playing up for a while but yesterday and today it has worked perfectly….. Very strange that mine is OK and yours is worse…🤔

Be Careful that the NX 12v socket only supports a total of 120w: “The power outlet can be used to supply power for devices which operate on 12VDC at less than 10A (power consumption of 120 W). When connecting multiple devices, make sure that the total power consumption of all the connected devices is less than 120 W.”

@Andy B will do but it may be some time before I get the welds checked. Interestingly, i did a local journey this afternoon (Thursday). After the trip my car is showing in the app as being on my drive and not at Tesco. However, the last trip still shows my 45 minute journey to Tesco on Tuesday, not the two local journeys since then. Perhaps there is a minimum distance in miles to qualify for Hybrid Coaching last trip?

Hi Ken. I have just taken some screenshots to give to Lexus when it goes in for the Weld check. It shows my car as being at Tesco which I visited Tuesday The car is on my drive and I can flash the lights via the app. It is also showing my last journey as Tuesday despite the fact that I made a 20 minute journey yesterday (Wednesday). Glad it is not just me - I thought my GPS wes playing up but it must be the App if I am not the only one.

Bear in mind that there are 2 Recalls detailed in the Clublexus.com forum link i posted above. The first is the Spot Weld issue that my dealer confirmed my recall is for. The second is a software issue with the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system. Some may have both and some may have one or the other on their own. I personally would much rather have the software issue rather than Spot Welds potentially missing. If your car is produced pre January it might be just the Software if the anecdotal info is correct that the weld problem was January production only. Fingers crossed for you.🤞

Thanks for the Toyota checker link Andy. I put my reg in and it confirmed that I have the recall. I think that is confirmation that your NX isn’t affected. Maybe the welding robot had too much Sake over Christmas! 😜

NX Owners in the US and Canada have been receiving recall notices for a potential Spot Weld issue on the front Shock Absorbers. There is a rumour that it is only January Production models (which mine is) but this is not confirmed yet. You can enter your Reg here: https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ The dealers have only been informed by Lexus this morning so do not have full details yet of what is involved. It is a potentially serious fault so I am hoping A that the inspection determines all our welds are there, or B if some are missing that they can just spot weld them in situ at the dealer. I don’t want to think about C…….

Not sure how you can have a “Gentleman’s Agreement” over extra VED as it is automatically applied based on the Published Lexus list price on the day your car is first registered. You will be charged the £355 extra per year from year 2. Are you saying the dealer gave you a £ 1,775 discount to cover it?

Yes, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am really pleased that they have a channel in them because my old UX Thule Aero Bars had a channel for my Kayak holders and I am guessing they will transfer over to these bars😬 Only downside could be that they are quite narrow - especially the back - so I may struggle to get both Kayaks on at once. No. I haven’t used the Park Assist yet where you push a button and the car parks itself.

Yes, it is Takumi with Auto Parking but I don’t haven’t used it yet so the beeps are not directly connected to that function.

It happens when I reverse too close to the wall behind the rear, or if I drive forward too close to the wall in front. Typically i am about a foot away and it gives 8 beeps after locking the car as I walk away. Never gone back to look at the dash but will do so next time it happens. Not sure about your last question Don…. Mine is a Takumi but not sure what “with out parking” refers to.

I get the same when parking too close to the wall but it is 8 beeps, not 5.🤔
