They’re certainly sleek James. How does the roof box attach to them?

Thought I would post photos for reference of how the Thule Force XT M looks on the New NX. I have used the Power Click system that comes as standard with the Box (and clamps on the bars) but the Lexus Bars also have a 20mm slot to use the T-Bolt fittings available separately. The Box opens both sides for convenience.

PS My Thule Wing bars were 118cm on the UX but official UX bars from Thule are only 108cm. I was glad of the extra 5cm overhang each side as you could see in the photo.

I haven’t tried putting two Kayaks on the Lexus bars as I feel they are too short for that. I sold my Thule Hull-A-Port J Bar carriers last week and I still have the Thule Dock Grip horizontal carrier that allows me to single-handedly load the Kayak from the rear. When we moved the Kayaks a couple of weeks ago we made 2 trips. Size (width) of your Kayaks is also a factor - mine are Hybrids so quite wide. Sea Kayaks are usually narrower than mine. If I was younger I would wait for the Thule and carry two on the roof. Given how much higher than the UX the NX is, and the relative shortness of me and my wife, plus we are in our 60’s….. I am happy not to be lifting the Kayak into the J bar….

Mine is steady as a rock. Definitely a fault.

I used the App to defrost my car in the winter and now to cool it down in our hot summer. It is a great feature given that we have my 6 month old grandson staying. I have set the internal temperature at 21 degrees when it has been 30 degrees inside the car. One thing though… it will show an error if the car is unlocked. The car has to be locked to operate the remote climate feature.

I hadn’t realised that the App is updated so often!😱

Just answered my own question! Went to the App Store and saw that it was showing an update available since 20 hours ago. Have updated to 4.12.2 (483) I have no idea yet what the “minor improvements and bug fixes” are though.

How do you know it was updated? My iphone app shows version 4.12.1(481)

Keep going back to the mirror though. 4.5k thousand miles on mine and last 3k with the digital mirror after reading about others who stuck with it…. I wouldn’t go back to normal mirror unless I have to.

I fell for the click-bait Andy!😂 Had a look to see it wasn’t working then had a look in the evening to see that the app was working but the location and last trip were still showing the usual out of date *****!🤪

Same problem. Maybe it is weekend maintenance.

The UK NX 350h hybrid has a 2.5 litre petrol engine but not turbo charged.

Last September I was offered £8k off the old model NX without me asking. I test drove it and ended up buying the new NX 350h Takumi at MSRP, unseen and not test driven. Very happy with my decision.

Tel, I missed the “e” in your comment…. No wonder you found the UXe quiet and refined! I went from a UX 250h to the NX 350h - comparing apples to apples…. To compare a fully electric to a hybrid is like comparing apples and oranges - no meaningful comparison in my mind. I have no negative experience in the NX after 2200 miles😬

I traded up from the UX to my NX 350h Takumi and the NX is far more refined than the UX. I had a UX loan car for a day while the Dash Cams were fitted and was so relieved to get back in the NX. You won’t be disappointed - but a test drive is always a good idea.

This is exactly my experience as well.

There is no hope! Even after the OTA software update the Lexus Link app is showing the last journey as being one made 2 days ago. Must be an App issue. I am not going to look anymore. 🤬

Had my spot welds checked today and my NX isn’t faulty. After the car was picked up this morning I received a letter from Lexus UK asking me to get the VSC ECU re-programmed by the dealer. I rang them to see if they could do that while it is in for the Spot Weld check today and they said it was already on the job sheet. Got the car back mid-afternoon, all sorted, nice and clean and a quarter tank of fuel to cover the 54 mile round trip to the dealer. Reminding me why I drive a Lexus.😬

I have just been out to my car and the OTA Software Update message came up. I downloaded and installed the updates in about 20 minutes. When I opened Lexus Link on my iPad the find my car car is now showing it at home with me rather than the 60 miles away it was showing before the update. We live in hope……

Same here. Mileage and Fuel are exact but car location is shown 60 miles away from me. I too have stopped looking at the app.

The NX is our second car from Lexus Hedge End and we were very happy with the service we received from MH - same experience as Chris.
