  1. Tony, my 20 inch Run Flats have done 30k miles ( except one replaced when punctured has done probably 5k less) so I may be in the market for a set of 4 in December. I was planning to fit 4 Michelin CC2 tyres in November or December assuming that the Bridgestones are still on back order. I am in Chichester, so not too far away. Not sure why you would plan to replace the Run Flats immediately though - they are great tyres.🤔
  2. Sorry for your pain. 🤬🤬 No words for low life such as these.
  3. I only looked at the App this morning due to this conversation. No trips recorded since 10 August and fuel showing as 26% even though I filled up on Friday. Not going to worry about it - car drives perfectly and ignorance is bliss!😬
  4. I had the Thule bars and rail feet on my UX but when I got my NX with panoramic roof in Feb 2022 Thule told me it could be at least 6 months before they had a set for the new NX. I bought the Lexus ones and have been very happy - see photo below.
  5. Too cold 🥶up there to have a glass roof Ken!🤪
  6. Booked mine in today for 16 September. Seems that the first step is to check the camera and then order parts if necessary. So not just a software fix. Interestingly the letter said at the bottom “ In addition our records show that there are additional campaign(s) outstanding” i mentioned this to the dealer and they said that their records show none outstanding.🤔 Maybe it was the last recall that was going to be done OTA?
  7. Glad you are sorted. I had the Thule feet and adapters for my UX but then they were no use when I got the NX so I sold them.
  8. Hi Chris. I have OEM ones for the NX 350h with a panoramic roof. These slot into 4 slots in the roof that are accessed by levering up plastic covers. Does the old NX not have the same system? Perhaps ask the dealer?
  9. 12v - After 2 call outs to the AA in 2023 with a flat battery I put the car in ready mode if loading or cleaning the car with doors open. I also carry a NOCO Boost GBX 45 in the glove box. Problem solved. Tyres. Puncture in Feb 2023 took 5 days to get replacement from Asda at £294. Will change to Michelin Cross Climate 2 non run flats and a compressor in the autumn. Problem solved and will save me approx £400.
  10. 100% agree. My Bose system on my 2006 Mazda 3 sport was far superior than the ML on my NX 350h Takumi…… or perhaps my hearing has deteriorated massively in the last 18 years!🤪
  11. Paul, this is scary stuff…. Please don’t answer if you prefer not to but for that amount of cost, why not claim on your own insurance? I would hope that the loss of no claims bonus and higher future premiums would cost a lot less than the mirror.
  12. That’s because we sorted out all the problems in the first 18 months!🤪😂
  13. Good research Justin thanks. however, the cynic in me refers to the small print I have highlighted and i would wager that they don't physically have any in the warehouse…..
  14. I never used my dictaphone…. Always used my finger!🤪
  15. I am just going to change to Michelin Cross Climate 2 all seasons come the autumn. I have 28000 on the Bridgestones so I am not losing anything by changing all 4. I hate Lexus for putting a rare tyre on the 20 inch rims.🤬
  16. Asda have them in the correct size and cheaper than elsewhere.
  17. Thanks for posting your research Stephen. The link is to 17 inch Winter tyres…… I wouldn’t recommend winter tyres for summer use. As you say at the end of your post, I would opt for All Season tyres and my happy previous experience is with Michelin Cross Climate 2 tyres though they are the most expensive. I have also fitted Continental and Pirelli All Season tyres in the past. The All Season are reinforced tyres so better with potholes than standards - but not as good as Run Flats for avoiding pothole damage to wheels. i would not feel a need to replace all 4 wheels every time I have a puncture. I would only replace 2 on a single axle if the wear (remaining tread depth) was significantly different to the tread on the new tyre.
  18. You shouldn’t be forced to slow down because when your speedometer reads 70mph you are actually doing approximately 67mph as measured by the GPS. For this reason I have just driven 460 miles to Scotland over the last 2 days with my cruise control set to 74mph knowing that I am not going to get a speeding ticket. If you get a beep at 71mph the beep is erroneous…..
  19. If I get beeps when I go 1 mph (or even 5mph) over the speed limit then the car will have to go! I hate beeps!🤬
  20. Maybe the Lexus Software is Microsoft and it reacted to the Crowdstrike Software Update!?🤪
  21. I never go above 100mph…. But if I go to Germany I may alter the pressure for the Autobahn 😬
  22. This is what I did and set it at 5mph over the limit. Mind you, I did all this 2.5 years ago……
  23. I have a HUD and the speed limit turns solid red if the limit is exceeded but there is no audible alert.
  24. Look at your door frame tyre pressure sticker. From memory the pressures are the same with and without load. I assume this is due to the Run Flat Tyres having much stiffer walls.
  25. Andy, yes thanks. I used Asda to replace a punctured one last year and it took them 5 days to source it. I drove with the nail in while waiting. Asda had none in stock when i looked last week.
