-
so basically i should just strip the old wax, and rewax it?
i think i better try that, i hate the way it looks now. even though its quite minor.
-
i made a mistake today, i washed my car and than used "turtle wax" polishing wax, and now i see i have swirls.
now i have to find something to get it back to its former glory.

i know this guy who has a scrap yard in basildon (can get his number in the yellow pages), whose has two damaged is200, but not sure if the bonnet is undamaged. it was so sad to see the ISs in that state.
-
i only pay to get the hand wash if i need it quickly done, other wise i do it myself.
cos if those guys are busy they rush it like hell, and you think whats this?
-
didn't you get year 1 and year 2 servicing done?
if you haven't dont that, then the resale value will be down anyway.
-
isn't it better to just get a pro to do it, cos if you do it wrong it could mess up the engine.
-
i just did a normal hand wash, i would show pics but not sure how to do it on this.
-
i've now had my is200se for 5 days, (a new 54' plate).
i've washed it 2 times now, and dried it with a chamie leather.
and i have still not seen any circular marks on the body under the sun, is this normal (not that i'm complaining). is it gonna stay like this? and what can i do to keep it like that?
-
whats with the drums? dont you mean brake disc?
-
the armrest will only fit in the auto is200, aint it?
to put it on the manual, you will need a completely new console right?
-
HIDs dont come standard on the is200, do they? only on the is300 isn't it?
-
i would say the limited edition (2003) one would be the best one, cos it has full leather, HID lights and armrest, on the manual.
-
do people have their foot on the nitrous when they sit in the back?
-
dont worry, it is CAT1, and mostly likly the same as the Megane's alarm and immobiliser.
i believe all manufacturers alarms and immobiliser are CAT1 these days
-
can't you get your mot done by anyone?, cos local garages charge about £25, with free re-test if you fail.
-
nice one, was your dealer woodford? cos i will be getting mine from them. and my number plate almost similar too yours (except the last 2 letters.).
but i'm getting black with cream interior, and everything else same.
-
the cheapest i got quoted is from elephant.co.uk, at £1500 (cos of where i live, £150 if i didnt live in east london).
i'm 20 with 2yrs NCB, and 2 additional female drivers. (it cames out cheaper with female drivers).
