Both of my numbers starting to reduce: 56.1/53.3 tonight. My miles per k/wh was 3.0 yesterday - I didn't take a look today.
-
Today, I drove 21 miles and had an estimated range of 29 when I re-charged. Tonight's estimate is 56.7/54.4, so the a/c figure is starting to creep south now!
-
Reading my quote again, it looks like I'm moaning, but I am happy with the range which 9 times out of 10 accommodates my journeys for the day. Today I did 21 miles with an estimated range left of 25. 10 miles of my journeys today were at motorway speeds, the rest, battling my way through the continual roadworks that surround Leeds City Centre. Tonight's charge shows the same as yesterday - 56.7/55
-
I only achieved 41 miles on the above guess. To be fair, the vast majority of my journeys today have been 70mph motorway with lower temps and heated seat and wheel on for a time (I know, I'm soft!!) Tonights over optimistic guess is 56.7/55 😁
-
Range estimate starting to drop now along with the temperature, although with aircon figure has gone up!. Now 56.9/55.8
-
I've not taken much notice over the last few days, but tonight's charge results in 57.1/55.4 which is down a bit on the last time I checked at 57.4/56.3

Another Recall!!!
Alan Thompson replied to Alan Thompson's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Mine has had the DC-DC swap today, also I reported continual problem with fuel flap. I thought I'd had it sorted last year, but it appears I was quick off the mark before it had become a service issue and all they did was grease it!! They are ordering me a new flap!! As for the frozen door locks, apparently my car isn't affected! It wasn't last year to be fair, so we'll see what this winter brings. At least if it is cold and does freeze, the steam coming out of my ears will be enough to defrost it 😁 -

Thanks for the update Ken - mine's in tomorrow for the DC-DC thingy. No-one has mentioned the frozen door lock "cure" to me. Maybe we are two overcoats warmer in Yorkshire than you in the 'frozen North'!! 😂 On the subject of RZ, I foolishly requested a settlement fig on my PCP and the Lexus salesman was straight on the phone. I got in a conversation about the RZ and they gave me some figures to change, which I thought were quite promising. But my words were very similar to yours - add 100 onto the range (people on the RZ forum are reporting real world figures of around 190) and I'd be interested. My concern as it stands at the moment is that at the next 'facelift' they are likely to find a way to substantially increase range (they did that with the Volvo XC40) and I was concerned about the effect that would have on the resale value of the current model? -
Mine too is levelling off Ken 57.4 /56.3 I've reset my m/kwh. We'll see how it goes - without me doing anything last year it fell to 2.7 (I think) during the winter. I do remember commenting (probably page 4 or 5 on here!) that it was still way better than my previous Outlander PHEV
-
57.4/56.2 tonight. I haven't reset yet Colin - I forgot today and I tend to get straight out of the car when I stop , not taking notice of the efficiency message that pops up.
-
And creeping back up 57.2/56.1 today. I need to be more organised around keeping tabs on the 'actual' figures.
-
57/55.3 Mine is up and down, but I've had a couple of long runs in the last few weeks and then several short ones in a day, exhausting the battery, so no regularity for the algorythm to settle on?
-
Thanks John I intend to stick with what I've got - had enough trouble getting this to work last year!!
-
Last night's charge resulted in 58.8/56.5 I had a few days where it was only showing one figure for range but back to how it used to be now. I've not downloaded the new app, I expect it will/may already have updated automatically.

NX 450h+ electric and petrol range
Alan Thompson replied to dts439's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I know, I had to check the figures 2 or 3 times! I think it's because the vast majority of my journeys are round trips of less than 30 miles. There are only 2 instances where I've done 500 miles round trips and I don't think any others have been over 100 miles. Maybe I should have gone full electric...................No, I like the flexibility. -
NX 450h+ electric and petrol range

Refuelled for the 10th time today since taking delivery in March 22 and covering over 12500 miles. Overall consumption since the last fill is working out at 73.3mpg resulting from fuel purchased and the cost of electrical recharges converted to the current cost of E10 petrol. The overall consumption since taking delivery and using the above method of calculation is 63.94mpg. With credit to Ken R for the wording. My last fill up was more than 2700 miles ago on 29 April. -

Just to add - my car was built jan/feb 22 so I suspect that only a relatively small number of cars are affected? -
Just got a letter today about Recall Campaign YGG27 DC-DC Converter Replacement. Letter states (I precis): converter needed to reduce voltage from HV Battery to charge the 12v battery. It's possible the current rectifying module on the circuit board was damaged in production could fail causing a short circuit. Lower down the letter it states in Capitals: 'IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT PLUG YOUR VEHICLE IN TO CHARGE THE HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 5 DEGREES CELSIUS' Lexus Leeds say likely to take up to 2 hours (although I think this is just a finger in the air statement as it's not listed yet on their computer). But can't fit me in until early October. So, a bit of jeopardy - will the temp drop to 5 degrees before I get it rectified? Will I be able to recharge for fuel used because I couldn't charge the battery? I guess thjs is more likely to affect Ken R and his friends in Bonny Scotland than me in the balmy climes of West Yorkshire 😂

Tonight 58.8/58.2 - that's the highest with a/c figure I've had. It's all immaterial as the actual figures seem quite erratic - I achieved 42 against yesterday's guess of 57. It seems like the last 15 miles or so predicted range can be wildly inaccurate - I lost 6 miles prediction against 2 miles driven - most up a steep hill to be fair.
