  1. Gloss Black rear diffuser, fairly simple to affix onto the rear bumper. This one replaces the original valance so that has to come off. Will get some exhaust tips at some point so it pokes out further and sits flush with the diffuser
  2. Remark axle back exhaust. Sounds good under load. In two minds whether to add some straight through back boxes to minimise any rasp 20230317_165753.mp4
  3. Thought I'd start a thread of the mods I've done and will be doing to the IS250. Too many to post all at once but will upload in due time 1st is possibly my favourite and that's the 4is style rear lights VID_111330223_080015_786.mp4
  4. 100% RCF/GSF LCA bushings fit the 3rd Gen IS. I'm getting a pair shortly myself
  5. I'm in the process of wrapping some interior parts, I'll let you know how it goes. Not sure if that specific piece is easily removable, but I know the other silver centre console trims are
  6. These are still available but listed items separately as not everyone wants the whole kit. If you purchase through eBay it'll be more expensive due to their fees on my side. They're listed on Facebook also for significantly cheaper as there's no fees involved
  7. I still have the kit if it's what you're looking for
  8. Yes it's not ideal to have two different brands let alone tread depth. AWD cars will especially have problems with different tyres and tread depth/pattern as it can damage the drivetrain
  9. No, you don't have to. You can still be connected to OEM Bluetooth and use the android unit for maps, music etc
  10. The provided Microphone is for when you're connecting to the android unit itself. If you connect to OEM Bluetooth then calls will use OEM mic instead
  11. Mine is for the ML 2014 version. I was able to use all the plugs on the screen, and only had to daisy chain one cable and that was a really big one on the head unit. This is what the ports look like on the back of my head unit.
  12. I'm not sure what you mean by "double rock setting box". Message me on here and send me a photo. Have you changed the source at all? My system turns on and off with the car. Not sure what's wrong with yours. Are you sure you've got the correct harness and plugged in the correct places?
  13. Tough pill to swallow but OEM isnt much cheaper nor better looking in my eyes. Already got other mods to put on, this is far from the finished product
  14. I got it from Aliexpress, about £600 all in. DIY, followed a video on YouTube, but fairly similar to my 2is rear lights that I done. Wiring is plug and play, so easy to do
  15. There's red available as well. I've always liked the smoked versions
  16. Finally managed to install my new rear lights. Absolutely loving them 😁 20230211_124115.mp4 20230211_130544.mp4
  17. Mine didn't come with any instructions but videos on YouTube helped to some degree. In my case I had more room feeding the cables to the left side behind the headunit. 1) placed the Microphone behind the screen 2) placed antenna behind the screen 3 & 4) see photo of where I've put them temporarily. Wanted to get some use out of it first and then tidy up placement in the future. So far no technical issues other than what I've previously pointed out which were minor.
  18. Import duty/tax because total cost was over £135 and shipped from outside the UK
  19. UPDATE: The seller shown me how to fix the door issue (1). Can confirm now when opening the car doors it shows the correct one open on the screen. They're looking into why the joystick doesn't work as expected in the Android screen but works normally when flicking back to OEM screen
  20. Well the marks on the screen are from my dirty sweaty hands and I didn't clean it properly after taking a photo. Yeah super easy to setup Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. For me it was just plug in my phone to the USB port (that came with the android unit) and it worked in seconds. I done it myself with the help of my brother for an extra pair of eyes/hands when needed. It is something that can be done solo but I would recommend just another person helps to make it that much easier. The hardest part was getting the cables through a small gap to the left behind where the headunit and screen sits
  21. Reverse camera is fine, just a bigger picture of it. 1) When opening a door it shows the opposite side open. 2) Using the original joy stick for control is a bit hit and miss, but I've ordered a touchpad that I've seen works well. The seller has asked me to send them some videos and additional information so hopeful they'll send a fix. Yeah can quickly access OEM screen by holding Menu button. OEM looks way better now as clarity is great + bigger screen
  22. Got the unit installed. Screen quality is awesome. Only two issues I'm facing so far but they're minor and I'm sure can be fixed with a software update (already contacted the seller about this).
  23. There will always been instances of issues with Android units. Some will experience issues and others won't. It's luck of the draw as with anything to do with technology. Look at Tesla for instance, plagued with software and electrical issues, but people still buy them. The cost of this particular unit I bought with the features it brings vastly outweighs the doubt of not getting it due to other peoples experiences. If I do experience issues, I'll contact the seller on Aliexpress. Haven't had any issues of not getting refunds/fixes by doing this in the past on the very few times I've needed to. I previously had a Grom Vline2 unit and reviews of that was very much a mixed bag. Had issues within the first week as the CPU was faulty, was then replaced with a new unit by them. But yes, bringing attention to issues people have had with these sorts of units is good, but by all means people should do their due diligence when purchasing anything of value.
  24. Most likely the case, but if it's going to save you X amount on import duty/tax why not have a shot at it 😁 From an ergonomic standpoint it's bad to use the touch screen, especially if you're sitting quite far back. However I bought it mainly for the Androud Auto capability + larger screen. So almost everything will be done via the phone at startup and then using the screen on a ad-hoc basis
  25. Yes the one I bought is touchscreen. Someone has bought an external touch pad and it looks like it works quite well with the unit. However his RC has the OEM trackpad, so unsure if it'll work with the dial type/joystick unit https://a.co/d/gKvdcNt
