    I find DAB tends to drop out as you approach the coast, at least in Suffolk, otherwise coverage is pretty good.

    Several manufacturers have 2-year service intervals now, so will be perfectly fine I am sure.

    Possibly, but if it's an intermittent issue you may not. The on board diagnostics of modern cars are pretty good, but as your car is earlier the diagnostics are probably less sophisticated. Certainly excessive vibrations are a likely indication that one cylinder is not firing, so going back to basics either there is no fuel/air mix, no spark or no compression.

    Yes does sound like a misfire, could also be a faulty injector.

    I suspect where you live and park the vehicle has a big impact on the level of risk, so may be worth it for some but not others.

    Not necessarily as it's a 7-seater, not sure what that does for rear legroom in the 2nd row, but certainly the 4th Gen standard RX is pretty good. Skoda Superb is like a limousine in the back.

    Yes that was my thoughts too, I would suggest getting the actual fault codes to confirm.

    In Holland is it just a fine? In the UK points on your license are more of a deterrent than the fine for most people I suspect.

    Is there a cabin pollen filter, maybe that is breaking up?

    Maybe you could try getting a replacement from a vehicle recycler.

    No screen options either for de-icing on the 4 RX.

    I have checked the specs and no sign of it, my car is an F-Sport with Premier pack and does not have it.     I have pretty much an identical vehicle and it has never done this. You are clearly not happy with the vehicle or else you would not be posting here, so the only sensible option is to return the vehicle.

    It may look like crap but that does not mean it's still not performing correctly, unless you actually test its performance properties, but certainly a placebo effect to have nice clean fluids.

    Some of the sat nav pronunciations are pretty weird on my 2018 model, for example: Lundun for London Cheapstow for Chepstow A colleagues BMW sat nav amuses me because it always says please, eg please turn left at the roundabout

    I had a brake caliper fail on a Golf Mk 2 which had dual circuit brakes, the pedal did indeed go pretty much to the floor although there was still braking effect but drastically reduced.

    I don't believe that option is available on any UK spec car.

    Yes I believe that's the history but either the patent has expired or other manufacturers have paid a license as now available on VW Group, BMW and Mercedes amongst others.

    The RX wheels are 20"x8", most vehicles that take the 255/50 tyres (eg Jaguar F Pace) seem to be fitted with 20"x8.5" wheels.

    Michelin Cross climates were available for my Chrysler 300C which was also an unusual tyre size (225/60R18)

    So either: You believe the vehicle may not be roadworthy following a Lexus service or You believe Lexus may be recommending repair work that is not necessary to pass an MOT

    I've had mine a little longer, few minor gripes I can think of: Cruise control goes up / down in 5mph increments, I'd prefer 1mph increments Tailgate too slow to open / close (I'd be quite happy with a manual one) Windscreen demist button just sets the fan to warp speed and is very loud, I'd prefer electrically heated windscreen On the HUD the outside temperature flashes up for a few seconds when you turn the ignition on, why can't it be displayed all the time as selectable option

    I can't see any reason to take it elsewhere just for an MOT, only reason would be if you don't trust the dealership with the service.
