My son had his new model 3 delivered two weeks ago (in black) I went round the next morning as they dropped it off so late and it was filthy from being transported and whoever had cleaned it before sending it out must have been a child with a scouring pad. Luckily he lives round the corner from a Tesla service centre and they agreed to do a full wax/detail. They had it for two days and I must say they were very good and even gave him a £150 Uber code. The manager said he has seen a few bad ones especially black, he blamed it on the number of cars they are processing every day, he said they have nearly 3000 cars to deliver this month.

My wife has asked why it is half white, lol 😂

Really like the lighter colours, but chickened out and went black. Not keen on the brown with brown plastics on dash I test drove one with the cream and it was stained and scuffed wit( black marks if I upgrade/swap at the 2yr point (pcp) I already want F Sport in the blue (the colour I really wanted, but only available on f sport) with red interior

Dealer sent me these, pick up on Tuesday the link app has been keeping me informed every time it moves, they took it out for a test and to fill it up with petrol earlier. I also got a message to tell me it wasn’t locked lol 😂

SH answered for me, only option really is colour. I am having the cameras fitted before collection though

Getting closer, my car is now at my dealer i will be dropping in later to do paperwork and sort out a collection day next week

Yes, my son had just swapped his XE for a new Tesla 3 and he had the standard fit Meridian, half as much power, no DSP and no centre speaker. The upgraded system in mine was part of the Black model upgrades and like the ML it was tuned for music not just a big pumping sub. Which is what I am hearing about the pioneer.

Unfortunately I couldn’t justify the luxury tax bill on a £40k+ car so mine is premium with the pioneer. The meridian is probably best I have heard 18 speakers in total. Bear in mind meridian themselves set up and tune the system and includes their processor as well, not like the b&o or Bose of the shelf speakers used in my previous Audi and Mazda I have heard that the mark levinson and the Mercedes’ burmeister are both pretty similar as well. I have visited the meridian factory a few times and their attention to detail on home systems is amazing. my mileage has dropped since covid and working from home, so I have gone from 500 miles a week to barely 500 a month so sitting in a car listening to my music isn’t as important as it was before

My XF r sport black is for sale before the ES arrives. perfect car, rare colour (only 100 in kyanite made) never had a problem and being the older one it has in my opinion the nicer interior. I will miss the 825W meridian surround sound. before anyone asks, it is 6 years old so will be expensive when it breaks, so thought I would move on whilst the second hand car market is stupid (my Lexus dealer has offered £12k which is about £4K more than what it was worth pre pandemic)

Best place to do it is on the Lexus website, I just had an email and a text message as well telling me it’s in transit. Need to clean my current car now and get it ready for listing on motorway

Update, on the Lexus website login my car is definitely in UK, on its way to Derby next for inspections before making its way back down the M1 to me, might even be before the 20th if I’m lucky

April sounds about right, my dealer told me April-June depending on model and spec. With only car available sooner being the new electric UX. I ordered mine 6 weeks ago and it is at sea for collection on 20th Dec, but I’m not getting too excited yet as it will probably end up here until next year

They only sell the V6 now, the 2.0 and diesel have been dropped, and with a price of over £40k it fell outside my shortlist unfortunately. I would have been very tempted by the 2.0 GT line S model is still around

Update on delivery dates, my dealer just called to say mine is at sea. Estimated availability is the 20th December now, so come forward again. He did say that new orders are for Mar,April with some bigger models falling into June. Only car that can be delivered this year is electric UX apparently
