  1. In my GS it's in the bottom-right corner of the windscreen, stuck to the glass.
  2. Is this your car's original colour? If so, you'll find the colour code on the VIN plate, the first three characters of the C/TR/A/TM code. (If the first three characters are 1C6 - bingo!)
  3. Used to have a subscription, but not any more. Bought a few k's worth of premium bonds instead now.
  4. 7 seconds (kept getting drawn back to the dark bean just up from the centre).
  5. OK, goodies ordered! (Damn this Lexus, it's a bloody money magnet! :P )
  6. Can't see the Step 3 wax in paste form, is it the Cleaner Wax, NXT Tech Wax Paste or Gold Class Clear Coat Paste Wax, or is it another one?
  7. I've updated my earlier post to correct the list. Matt, you may want to cut my quote from your earlier reply, it's a bit lengthy (and all my fault!). Where do you get the wax from, Bazza? I've found a one-stop-shop for everything else (www.socket2me.co.uk). Which ones get PC'd and which ones go by hand? Which pads? I bought the DAS kit so I've got the orange, green and blue pads, plus the white one that came with the polisher, plus the cloth thing that goes over the orange one. Any other odds and sods I need, any particular cloths and stuff? (must - remember - glass - cleaner - must - remember - glass - cleaner)
  8. I wouldn't dare use T-Cut with a polisher, might as well use a belt sander! Was looking at Bazza's list, I assume the following would be correct (and in order):- £10.07 £7.56 £6.71 £6.71 £6.06 £6.71 Prices from www.socket2me.co.uk I hear you Matthew, I'd just like to run this past Bazza first.
  9. I used the T-cut about a fortnight ago (one of the swans outside our offices decided to have a go at the back wing), didn't do an awful lot, there are some marks still there. Time to go shopping at Autopia again, methinks!
  10. What stuff did you use altogether, Bazza? Bought my Porter Cable polisher, changed the plug and everything, but in the garage I only have various bottles from TripleWax and Autoglym, plus a big bottle of T-Cut Metallic. Searching for Meguiars brings up a bewildering array of polishes and waxes, I don't know where to start!
  11. Pictures of Adrian's car can now be found at http://www.xboxrepair.plus.com/threesix36/lexus/images/ (I'm hosting 'em for him!)
