I reckon the big boys will have already estimated fuel costs to 2008 and worked out where to peg the fixed rate at to cover themselves. But if the man on the rig knows something they don't...

Pay more now, to make up for paying less later, probably balancing out by 2008. Hmmm... I'd rather pay less now (switching if necessary), and retain the option to switch again later!

Well done. Going solo or working for someone else? If going solo I'd suggest using your own name, shows you're prepared to put your name to your work and your personal reputation on the line, unlike some who hide behind oddball company names (a few of which deservedly end up on "House of Horrors" or "Rogue Traders")!

Why not just get one of these... Crack off an impeller (two if you've got twin pipes) and use that? Mind you, the car'd sound like a four-minute-warning siren going down the motorway!

Take the bumper off to do it. PM me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you a .PDF of the instructions for fitting the LPA400 kit to an IS, got templates and everything. Fitting yours shouldn't be too different. It's a big file though, about 7 megs!

South Wales Police have a pair of marked RX300s. Spoke to two coppers who were parked in one in Aberdare, very happy with it. The stereo and dash haven't been butchered to take a Home Office radio, either - the radio gubbins is in the flat bit of the console, between the front seats!
