  1. Depends how thick the cable is. 21W foglamps draw almost 2 amps apiece, so you're talking 4 amps altogether. Unless the cable's really scrawny (like cheap speaker cable or the cable on a phone charger) you should be OK. Maplin do speaker cable rated at 15A that would run the fogs easily, cable is 6 x 3mm. The 4 x 2mm stuff is only rated 1A and would burn out.
  2. On a rear-engine car, yes - the MR2 is a real PITA to do. Try loosening the rad cap 1/4 turn to the first click and run the engine for a few mins until warm. This allows the system to breathe at atmospheric pressure and should allow any air to escape. ← My thinking was that having the rad cap at the highest point in the whole system would allow air bubbles out. Being at such an angle would also put the heater matrix lower down in the system, also the angles of all the hoses would be different, hopefully allowing air to escape, etc.
  3. Would being parked facing up a steep hill help when trying to remove the airlock?
  4. One of the directors in work fancied my Lexus, but went for a Jag in the end as he wanted a diesel. How many others have done the same? Lexus have had plenty of Toyota diesel engines at their disposal for ages (the Land Cruiser Amazon has the choice of 4.7 petrol or 4.2 turbodiesel), this is a market they should've targeted years ago.
  5. The specification sheets on the Lexus website have moved, and can now be found at www.lexus.co.uk/approved_preowned/specification_index.asp
  6. I don't know. I think it'd be easier to actually do it than to Photoshop it. Probably run from a DMX controller.
  7. We've used Axis print servers for years. This one should do the job nicely.
  8. Don't bother buying the cheap Alba from Argos. One of my friends just bought one, had to take it back 'cos it was DOA. She went for the LiteON instead.
  9. Extract from the Yorkshire Evening Post: "A drunk who claimed he had been raped by a dog " read all about it in GOLd
  10. Peel the stickers, put a NORMAL spoiler on the back, put the bonnet back down (vent it at the back if you need that much airflow), spray it to match the rest of the car, and you've got yourself a nice little "sleeper". Anyone fancy feeding it to www.barryboys.co.uk.? :P
  11. I've fancied a Lexus for years, because (a) it's posh, and (b) it's Toyota. If it's not a Toyota Motor Corporation vehicle, I'm not particularly interested in it. If it was a Toyota Aristo, and there was no such brand as Lexus, then yeah, I'd have gone for it.
