  1. Shouldn't this be moved to the "Was it you" forum? :D
  2. Worth considering an IS300 (if you can find one within your price range) or a GS300, all around the 210-220bhp mark. There's even an Aristo(import GS) V300 twin-turbo on AutoTrader at the moment, £5750 is the asking price. Newer shape GS starts at £4,500.
  3. Update: found this info, the lights are wired to a set of Light-O-Rama lighting controllers, which are in turn connected to a PC running the Light-O-Rama software.
  4. Mk.2 GS = no holes Heat + floss does the trick nicely.
  5. I just reported that one to eBay and sent a message to the winner warning him not to stump up.
  6. The traffic light should be visible on the photograph. If they send an NIP, ask for the photo. If/when they decide "no further action", repeat your request for the photo and get ready to complain loudly (i.e. go to the press) as there could be a lot of people stumping up for a crime they didn't commit.
  7. What's your account name? Worth checking to see what you've allegedly got for sale, and warning off any bidders (or putting in killer £1,000,000 bids that aren't going to be paid!) Killer bids can be sent from an account knocked up specifically for the purpose.
  8. In a nutshell, don't bugger about with the orange wires! :P
  9. Take a look at this, it's the guts out of a Gatso (and no I didn't steal it!)... Note the range (easiest to see in the bottom picture) - 20-250km/h, 13-156mph
  10. Waiting for my 6000K kit to arrive from Prolex - £250!
  11. ...has the battery been disconnected? If so, try leaving the key in the "run" position for 6 minutes, then try starting. This is the case on the Mk.2 GS.
  12. The reversing bulbs don't fit the Mk.2 GS. :(
  13. LED indicators draw a very low current, unless load resistors are fitted the bulbs will "doulble flash" Yes - the clear 7440's will fit your front indicators ← You know the way the indicators flash like mad when a bulb's gone? That's what you'll get without the resistors.
  14. My reversing bulbs arrived (with quite a thud) through the letterbox this morning. Whoppers aren't they, Mike! I note though that you recommend the red brake/fog bulbs for clear lenses. I'd recommend them for red too, as the red light will all get through the lens. The white one will be emitting blue and green light for nothing, as the lens will absorb it all. In other words I'd expect the red ones to be brighter than the whites when fitted behind a red lens.
