  1. The family which owns all my local (and extortionate) petrol stations must be branching out! :P
  2. Windows XP should run on that without hammering the swapfile. Just <rant> (I f***ing HATE WinXP. Damn garish colours, Teletubbies backdrop, options changed from Win2K just for the hell of it, stupid, STUPID quirks, its insistence on scanning every CD you put in - especially with Media Center Edition) </rant>
  3. Norfolk Enchance running this year? :P
  4. On sale here Homepage here
  5. Hope they try that here, their mugshots'll be picked up on 4 CCTV cameras!
  6. I got one too, sent to an account name I used specifically for LOC. Might be worth the admins having a dig through their webstats...
  7. Hmmm... Morse disappears, Aido turns up... Anybody actually seen the two together, or could they be one and the same? :P Welcome back Aido! You going to the JapFest at Castle Combe?
  8. If the car doesn't start afterwards (turns over but doesn't kick in), leave the key in the ignition (one click back from "Start") for six minutes.
  9. Grub ahoy! Put me down as a maybe, I've e-mailed this topic to my mate to see if he's also up for it (Adrian - BRING YOUR F***ING LEXUS! We'll polish her up on the Friday). Wouldn't be staying over though. Under 80 miles back to Aberdare so not too bad a run.
  10. You're in Letchworth, I picked up Park Lane in Newtown, Powys. That means Mayfair's probably on the side of a cup in McDonalds Aberdeen. :D Working two days up in Newtown last week. Lunch on the first day was a turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce bap. Twice. With a can. Supper was at McD's. Lunch on the second day was a pork, stuffing, crackling and apple sauce bap. Twice. With a can. Supper was at McD's again. Working up there again tomorrow, not sure what the hot bap of the day is on Tuesdays, will find out in about 12 hours' time :P Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll have the Mayfair sticker, too!
  11. Sent her home? I'd have thought they'd keep her in work! :P Hope she's better soon!
  12. There'll be either one or (hopefully) two cars coming down from the valleys, a Mk.2 GS300 and a Mk.1 LS400. Probably playing cat & mouse all the way along the M4! :D
  13. Can the boot springs be adjusted? On some Lexus models they can be moved to a different notch to tighten them up and increase the lift. Adjustments would be at the sides (follow the spring arms to the ends).
  14. I've got Park Lane, if anyone out there's got Mayfair we can go halvers on a hundred grand! I'm also an Euston Road short of a Nintendo DS and a Coventry Street short of a Peugeot scooter, which can of course be flogged and the cash split.
  15. I had no problem with Highway. With A-Plan this year, though - came in a fair bit cheaper than my current insurer, and wiped the floor with the rest! Click here for more info.
  16. Is there anything else to pay, or does the £8.50 I've paid get me in and my car in and on the stand?
  17. Whatever you do, bear in mind that you'll want both analogue and digital (Freeview) tuners, ready for when they start shutting down the analogue transmitters (mind you, they haven't even upgraded ours yet!)
  18. Someone pooh-poohed the idea of a 5.0, claiming that "Toyota doesn't HAVE a 5.0L engine". My anonymous post should appear soon, pointing out that they have the 1GZ-FE which is a 5 litre V12. :D
  19. On my old GS (N-reg) it was the rear crankshaft oil seal, an expensive job (drop the engine and gearbox to do it) so I got rid instead. If you're lucky it could be the sump gasket, or the drain plug could be a bit loose.
