  1. How does a car manage to wipe out three coilpacks in one go?
  2. Interesting car... Celica meets Knight Rider!
  3. And the name of this fine establishment...?
  4. ...and in case you're wondering what Colin's talking about, there's a Flashlube kit for sale here. I insisted on one when my car was converted.
  5. A faulty Tracker shouldn't operate the central locking, it should either call Tracker when the car's not pinched, or not call them when it is pinched!
  6. Option 1: Smash every window, Autoglass will replace them with a different brand. Option 2: Join LOC Gold, put your new LOC stickers over the Toyota branding.
  7. As the car's already been converted, it would be a shame to waste all that lovely cheap fuel!
  8. A novel way to parallel park - save it for your driving test! Click...
  9. Petition signed, and I don't even have FreeView (they haven't upgraded our transmitters yet - grrrrr....)
  10. If they're the little ones set into a plastic base (like instrument cluster bulbs) you can buy some cheap 12V wire-ended bulbs from Maplin and fit them into the base as a replacement. Did this on my mate's LS as seven had gone in the centre console - that's about 40 quid's worth from Toyota!
  11. TFR? Comma TFR? Mixed in with the water jet? Engine must've looked like an exposion in a marshmallow factory! Or do you spray it on wih a spray bottle, then jet it off? Never thought of jetwashing the engine bay before! Hmmm...
  12. Is the cooker available in both Natural and LPG versions? If so, it would be worth checking that you've got the right one. At a place I used to rent the boiler ran on LPG but had a bigger Natural Gas injector fitted by mistake, was like a blast furnace until the injector was replaced. If running an LPG cooker on Natural Gas I'd assume the reverse would be true, i.e. pathetic cooking flame.
  13. Does Cold Fusion accept WC1A3LL (i.e. without the space)? If so, it's a case of stripping all spaces, then parsing the postcode, then some sort of character shift along the lines of the following (written in Pascal in this case):- postcode:=postcode+" "; {adds a space to the end, increasing length by 1} postcode[length(postcode)]:=postcode[length(postcode)-1]; postcode[length(postcode)-1]:=postcode[length(postcode)-2]; postcode[length(postcode)-2]:=postcode[length(postcode)-3]; The last three lines nudge the last three characters along to recreate the gap.
  14. Seeing as 6th is effectively illegal then, can it be linked into a James Bond style numberplate rotator? :P
  15. Search these forums for "alastair", you'll find details of A-Plan Insurance who do a pretty good deal for Lexus owners.
  16. Adrian won't be bringing his Mk.1 LS, he's flogging it and keeping his Dad's Jag! Some people are gluttons for punishment! He'll be coming with me though (the £17 I paid covers both of us plus the car, excluding cups of tea, doesn't it?), so there's room for another car on the stand now. What's going to be there altogether? I'm bringing a Mk.2 GS300.
