  1. B)--> QUOTE(T7RY B @ Jun 28 2006, 01:32 PM) ← What a BEAST Sooooooooooooooooo real Why does the front-driver-side view remind be of a Trabant?
  2. 1968 2006 I've spotted eight nine so far! To see the list of ones I've found, highlight the text between this line... Joe's knotted hanky replaced with a Burberry cap Joe's wearing trainers Petunia's listening to an iPod Petunia's reading Hello! magazine Petunia's Union Jack bag's been replaced with a cooler bag There's a plane flying overhead There's a car in the background Joe rings the coastguard on his mobile phone instead of using the payphone The coastguard's got an earpiece and a PC with TFT screens, instead of just a phone ...and this line!
  3. Compare the images in positions 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72 and 81. Number you thought of - sum of digits = subtract one from the other... 10 - 1 = 9 11 - 2 = 9 12 - 3 = 9 13 - 4 = 9 14 - 5 = 9 15 - 6 = 9 16 - 7 = 9 17 - 8 = 9 18 - 9 = 9 19 - 10 = 9 20 - 2 = 18 21 - 3 = 18 22 - 4 = 18 23 - 5 = 18 24 - 6 = 18 25 - 7 = 18 26 - 8 = 18 27 - 9 = 18 28 - 10 = 18 29 - 11 = 18 30 - 3 = 27 31 - 4 = 27 32 - 5 = 27 33 - 6 = 27 34 - 7 = 27 35 - 8 = 27 36 - 9 = 27 37 - 10 = 27 38 - 11 = 27 39 - 12 = 27 40 - 4 = 36 41 - 5 = 36 42 - 6 = 36 43 - 7 = 36 44 - 8 = 36 45 - 9 = 36 46 - 10 = 36 47 - 11 = 36 48 - 12 = 36 49 - 13 = 36 50 - 5 = 45 51 - 6 = 45 52 - 7 = 45 53 - 8 = 45 54 - 9 = 45 55 - 10 = 45 56 - 11 = 45 57 - 12 = 45 58 - 13 = 45 59 - 14 = 45 60 - 6 = 54 61 - 7 = 54 62 - 8 = 54 63 - 9 = 54 64 - 10 = 54 65 - 11 = 54 66 - 12 = 54 67 - 13 = 54 68 - 14 = 54 69 - 15 = 54 70 - 7 = 63 71 - 8 = 63 72 - 9 = 63 73 - 10 = 63 74 - 11 = 63 75 - 12 = 63 76 - 13 = 63 77 - 14 = 63 78 - 15 = 63 79 - 16 = 63 80 - 8 = 72 81 - 9 = 72 82 - 10 = 72 83 - 11 = 72 84 - 12 = 72 85 - 13 = 72 86 - 14 = 72 87 - 15 = 72 88 - 16 = 72 89 - 17 = 72 90 - 9 = 81 91 - 10 = 81 92 - 11 = 81 93 - 12 = 81 94 - 13 = 81 95 - 14 = 81 96 - 15 = 81 97 - 16 = 81 98 - 17 = 81 99 - 18 = 81 Yeah I know, I'm a spoilsport!
  4. Remember, if you catch them in the house, Tony Martin rules apply - in other words, if you take 'em out, don't call the cops!
  5. Off to Burton's for some new underpants, that first guy!
  6. You give them too much credit... it's taken them this long (a couple of decades at least) to come up with an operating system which is somewhat usable and performs reasonably well... never mind the fact that it looks a lot like OSX for Macintosh (Windows Vista, I'm referring to... which I'm running on two machines as part of a beta test...) This *beta* version of Windows is definitely more stable and much faster than the "proven" previous windows releases with upteen service packs... :duh: Just a few minor niggles at the moment ;) then again.. it is a beta... Leland I think they've finished Windows 98 now. Another 2 years and Windows 2000 will be fit for release. As for XP, well...
  7. My Mk.2 GS used to do this, I put it down to the intelligent auto box not learning my driving style properly. An ECU reset cleared it, problem hasn't recurred in months, touch wood (well, wood veneer).
  8. Remember:- Microsoft beta = everyone else's alpha Microsoft final release = everyone else's beta Microsoft Service Pack 4 = everyone else's final release What, me cynical? :P
  9. Just did a whois lookup, someone's just pinched idecal.co.uk this morning!
  10. That'll mean they'll have a harder time shifting it, so the cops might have a better chance of nicking any "usual suspects" with the screen still in their possession. CCTV's the way to go, Mike. Cheap Dell PC (they're VERY quiet), big hard drive, cheap CCTV card off eBay, couple of cameras (make sure they can see well in the dark) and you're away. If local planning bods don't like cameras going up on the house, f**k 'em. It's your house. Gutting though, if you caught them in the house you'd stamp their heads into mush! :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: Got a rounders bat behind my front door (with ball of course) plus a Stillson wrench upstairs, in case of trouble. Have any spare keys been taken? For the house OR the cars? Scenes-Of-Crime Officer been around dusting yet?
  11. Why not take it straight from the back of the cigar lighter socket itself?
  12. Don't know, that's why it'd be worth sending him a PM! The RX300 10K service is £125.68, generally Hanley's RX300 service prices are a touch below those for the LS and the SC (which are the dearest in the list). Just to give you some idea.
  13. Back to the car, I sent him a message along the lines of "Leather interior? Looks like cloth in the pics". Response: "sh*t sorry mate", so that's one correction made in the auction!
  14. PM Chris.S, the trip to Stoke would be well worth it for the money you'll save.
  15. Apparently it's silver (according to the checker on eBay).
  16. Looks like you're not the first to complain about these guys. Link You might want to get in touch with your local Trading Standards dept, they may be interested.
  17. If you're handy with a drill you could fit a heavy-duty (around 20A) switch in the door, somewhere where it can't be accessed with the door closed (but where it won't get smashed up by the door closing or the glass going down!). Cut one of the window motor wires and feed both ends to the switch using suitable wire (again avoiding anywhere that the glass is likely to come down into). Switch off = locked window.
  18. 33. At 23 I was driving a 1986 Toyota Corolla with four full-size hi-fi speakers in the boot!
  19. A for me. I think Liverpool's a typo - it shouldn't be refer, it should be A A A A A
  20. Not going for the black & red rag-job as seen in Japfest?
