  1. Some one else has also suggested resetting the ECU may do the trick. Nobody however had said anything about leaving the key turned in the ignition for 6 minutes. you don't need to leave the ignition on for 6 mins. On mine, if you don't do that it won't start. Sticker on the fusebox to that effect, too.
  2. Ah, I didn't notice the LPG bit. What's performance like when running on petrol?
  3. Might be worth resetting the ECU (remove EFI and ECTS fuses for 30 seconds, refit them, then leave key turned in the ignition for 6 minutes otherwise the car will turn over but not start).
  4. Check your high-level brake lights as well, they'll trip the bulb failure light.
  5. After two Toyota Corollas and two Toyota Carinas, Lexus was a natural progression for me. On my second GS300 now, will have to be an RX or LS next (but not for a while yet...) Oh, and in a word... reliability. Toyota (and therefore Lexus) are renowned for it.
  6. Was a convoy up to Cheltenham from last year's Japfest. I'm up for that if anyone else is.
  7. My GS runs just fine on LPG. Make sure you get a Flashlube kit fitted though (insist on it). If you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up on Google or eBay.
  8. $99.95? That's a bit steep when www.esuperchargers.com do them for $24.95! :P
  9. 47 at my "local" (80 miles away) dealership.
  10. My 75 litre tank takes around 60 litres depending on the pump. Also, some stores have faster pumps than others. I'd expect you to get about 63-65 litres in there, from empty.
  11. Before the existing warranty runs out:- Check mirrors for any "halo" or "sunrise" effect at the edges, indicating that the backing is starting to corrode. Check alloys. Any corrosion, get 'em changed.
  12. Is there anything in the small print of the document you signed (assuming of course you've got a copy for yourself)? Have you tried asking Consumer Direct anyway?
  13. My guess would be April, seeing as at least one dealership are doing a special offer on brand new vehicles for existing customers and immediate family all next month...
  14. I use them. They're fine. Measure your existing blades first though, the PIAA site used to have one side listed as an inch longer than it should've been.
  15. In our school the chemistry teacher would send a kid down to the maths teacher (typically on April 1st) to ask for a "pendulum bob". Of course, the maths teacher (Bob Childs) would bellow at the poor kid when he asked for one! Happy days! :)
  16. How about one of these? ...for those who don't want to click, it's one of these:-
  17. Post colour edited (highlight to read it). Just need Adie to do the same... :P
  18. Bang up-to-date with Prison Break here, too. Spoiler below - highlight between here... One thing about the team-ups is that you never know what's going to happen. Kellerman's got a lot of questions to answer. Bump in to Sara: "There's the b*****d who tried to kill me!". Bump into LJ: "There's the b*****d who killed Mom!". Try talking your way out of that! ...and here if you want to read it!
  19. Don't bother trying a 57i induction kit though. The car might share an engine with the IS300, but it certainly doesn't like sharing an intake pipe!
  20. It'll probably be the radio code. If I remember correctly then if the code is set you'll see SEC appear briefly in the radio display when switching on the ignition. Code might be in the handbook, scrawled on the radio security pages. Dealer who serviced it may also have it on file.
