  1. I offered him my 2014 ISF but he is looking probably to spend £15k for a mint one so...
  2. Lovely contrast, very rare combination!
  3. I’m privately selling Toyota avensis estate and despite being the cheapest in the country I have not had a single call about it. Car market is sort of devastated at the moment and no surprise good, expensive cars don’t sell. Big car traders around Swansea have different employees every week as there is no provision to make any more and people change jobs desperately. Im wondering if anything is going to change during spring months.
  4. There will be imported black ISF 2014 on the market soon. I am really curious how much it will go for:)
  5. Similar when people having 471hp change the exhaust to gain 10-15hp extra. It is not a game changer itself but when you add all different mods together then a stock car has no chance…
  6. If you are not a registered car trader and sell just one used car even with £50k profit then you don’t pay a penny tax anyway. That’s the rule people with classic cars follow.
  7. As you can see a decent 2013 model with 66000km ended on auction for ¥2700000. That gives you roughly £25k on the road price. Is it a lot? I don’t think so, for what it is. Can you make money on it? Well I doubt you could sell it for £30k in UK. What you think?
  8. Just to let you know about this 2011 ISF I mentioned on BCA auctions. 42 days ago they valued it at £17650 and today I would get only £16100 for exactly the same carAs secretly expected, traders know something it’s coming…
  9. Well I had to pay to company bidding and sending my car as follows: auction fee ¥20000 netotiation fee ¥10000 document processing ¥45000 port charges ¥25000 inland ¥35000 post ¥11500 company fee ¥85000 storage ¥30000 insurance ¥40000 freight ¥348000 So total except car price is ¥646000 ~ £3600 Also Barclays charged me at least 2.5% for 2 money transfers which gave around £380 (all I transferred to them). That’s why I said around £4000 is total to leave before car arrives in UK. I only bought one car for myself so if you can see some dodgy practises here please tell me. Maybe they charged me more than they should I don’t know…
  10. As a rule I would add that to any car from Japan you need to add around £4000 fees to get it to UK. Then on top of that is 35% mentioned before. Example: For a car itself that you pay £10000 in Japan, can expect £17000-£18000 price on the road in UK depending on few small factors that is why is never an exact amount unless you are a trader and have everything repeatable.
  11. If any of you have a BCA account there is a 2011 ISF with reg GV11OCA just under 60k miles. I cannot see the price as private member, but they have a buy it now price for traders. Can someone share it so we know how much they want to trade it for?
  12. Could you share which company did you use to buy it there and which agent are you going to use in UK?
  13. I would agree with tax issue but there is one white RCF on AT for £27k 2017 £180 tax and none interested... Assuming this car is quite ok and can get relax warranty then 2015/2016 should be sold for £20k? It looks interesting to watch what happens next but not to sell atm.
  14. Currently RCF market is the worst I have ever seen. So many good cars listed for £25k… I would bet you get max £23k for yours at the moment. Maybe wait 3/4 months and hopefully get much better figure? I cannot see any RCF sold in last 2 months and some of them dropped even £5k already:/ looks like market is looking for a bottom.
  15. I repaired my is250 with same issue using used parts from Poland as they have lot of breakers and none installs this system after crash, because they don’t bother. You will pay fraction of Lexus price if you go this route. PM if you cannot find any alternative in UK.
  16. We have currently is250 2015 and we don’t complain. Somehow RCF has different back seat profile and kids were struggling a lot even if same floor area. But if somehow IS 2nd gen is too small then there is no option for me really to have a v8 sleeper up to £25k really. German brands don’t exist for me any more.
  17. Thanks for saving me a trip to tricky dealer. £25k is way too much for 2010 isf, doesn’t matter mileage or even condition in my point of view. For this sort of money I would go straight to Japan auctions to import 2014 fully loaded low miles model for same or lower money and with some nice alcantara colour too.
  18. Yeah I know Scotty:) haven’t watched his videos for a while but I believe he still drives LC500
  19. It is going to be daily car as I had RCF for 2 years. Issue with RCF was that 12&7 years old kids don’t fit in the back. My boy was kicking me and daughter could not touch floor because RCF seats are so deep. It was annoying after a while + 2 doors I promised myself to get in next 5-10 years when this issue is gone. Also I don’t need a flashy car and didn’t like that all the people around looks at RCF, a proper head turner. A sleeper with similar engine would be great. I don’t care about people looking at it because I excessively break speed limits so no time to focus on them:) Personally I like the two blue examples. high mileage but maybe for the right price. Nothing near £18-£19k though.
