  1. If you buy 2011/2012 there is plenty of units available for a full swap in UK. Nothing to worry about.
  2. The system you just mentioned I have got in 2015 is250 mk3. Just a yellow icon. In 2015 RCF I had a display showing every tyre separately. In 2014 JDM ISF I do not have one at all. Since 2015 it is compulsory. 2014 and older it depends on customer when ordering or manufacturer if they wanted to please people with one.
  3. Hi, I recently watched a guy on YouTube describing 10 worst engines that should not last 50k miles or not much over it. According to him one of them is Lexus is250. My 2015 is250 has 75k miles and I was hoping to drive it as long as possible but his opinion made me intrigued. What do you guys think the weaknesses are in 250’s especially in mk3 redoing? Im referring to the one below (watch from 16:40).
  4. Hi, just recently I installed brand new set of genuine 2023 Lexus is350 F sport wheels. I won an auction in Japan and imported them myself through Sendico. I have been hunting for this particular model in this colour for a while and finally they are here on my car now. Spec: 19" (9.5J ET60, 8.5J ET45) Tyres new Goodyear Assy 6. Also today I polished headlamps using Sealey HRK01. You can see pictures before with lots of yellow and after. My first attempt ever doing this job. Oh and one more thing. I managed to compeltely burn out 2 front discs completely. This time new Brembo discs and pads oem. The reason for iCode discs to be finished is improper pads installed in my opinion. They were Brembos the hardest ones. Absolutely no dust (positive) but warped my discs badly at the same time. And no, it was not me driving/breaking like crazy. I did not want to risk another expensive set so went oem for now. Take a look at pictures and let me know what you think. IMG_2044.HEIC IMG_2047.HEIC IMG_2054.HEIC IMG_2053.HEIC
  5. I remember there was a guy interested in my ISF. He wanted to book a trailer for it and never came back to me. Now I suspect who he was… Same as Rich when I bought my RCF I booked a night in Hilton Nottingham on my own just to celebrate it before early morning ride to Swansea. With ISF I was waiting for it for few months to arrive from 🇯🇵 If you really want it you get it, enough said.
  6. Now you can visit me in Swansea to test 2014 model with full iCode mods on. I will give you a ride to set up new bar. PS 2 days ago racing hard against latest BMW M4 with “pop corn” and the guy could not catch me up at all… something to have a think how capable ISF chassis is.
  7. The wrong is the fact that he sells a car as a trader with decent margin but trying to avoid giving a guarantee (simply impossible according to law). If every trader could sell you a dodgy car stating "you got a great price so DUCK OFF"... Just think about it.
  8. I can imagine someone took it as a donor or to strip for valuable parts.
  9. Just one clue if you decide to go for an import. If you import late 2013/early 2014 you will not change your sat nav unit at all. No genuine replacements nor aftermarket. Reason being it looks similar at the front but the back connection is basically from is mk3. A transition model it seems so be aware of you want to play with it take >2011<=early 2013
  10. Why don’t you drive to see 2012 sold by Lexus on AT? You can have an extended ride in a facelift car for free + coffee + biscuit.
  11. I want to know why didn’t you buy the red one?
  12. Steering in ISF is slightly heavier that in RCF.
  13. Car no longer for sale. Stays with me and few upgrades just ordered. Thanks for looking.
  14. I always think about that blonde cheek from Terminator movie when I see sc430… Is it only me? Btw I like wooden interior here!
  15. I don’t agree that those things make ANY difference at all in ISF’s price. In my car someone paid around £17000-£18000 for all iCode mods and since few months I got plenty of offers/enquiries about selling those parts separately but NONE pay for a package with a car which just makes ma laugh and wonder. Like Ivacerk said it’s best to enjoy it and not to worry about resale.
  16. Very nice one. After you get used to it let us know if you feel TVD in action.
  17. Of course it’s not legal. As I stated a trade price is around £9k anyway so he is trying to nearly double the money and avoid any responsibility. A total cheeky cxxx
  18. I would just leave the door open if it’s so easy to steal. No point closing the car, less potential damage. I suggest to install some decent tracker to at least find it if theft happens. All above is not a joke.
  19. Trade value £9100. I offered him £11k today. He laughed. We will see..
  20. Considering this car value and potential expensive repair I would just get rid of it asap. Its just no point digging in this engine when you can buy same car low mileage for a little more.
  21. I wish you all the best with selling it BUT 2008/2009 with nearly 100k miles sell usually for £12500-£14000 MAX. I hope this helps you if you need to get rid off it. All the best as you have a nice F.
  22. I would love to join this event.
  23. If we dare to compare Lexus reliability to BMW then any warranty is great whatever it contains. Leaving German garbage aside, I think relax warranty it’s worth only if we compare parts/labour to dealer prices. If we use competent mechanic like I recently did for my ISF then I cannot justify Lexus product. Also when I had RCF and serviced it at Lexus Cardiff, some small issues arised during my ownership (2 years). They did everything they could to fob me off every single time I complained about something. Fox example, I had a small issue with seat sensor, they blamed I must have driven car with open door. That was disgusting 🤮
