Dear SC430 lovers, I've sold my SC430 2006 with 92000KM but I have some extra parts for the SC lovers; Lexus 19" OEM rims and summer tires. 19 x 8J Offset 45, 235/40 R 19 front 19 x 9J Offset 55, 265/35 R 19 rear Radio/CD complete Carpet (front) Four workshop books , vol 1, vol 2, vol 3 and electrical diagram (new) If a true enthusiast is interested, contacted me for photo's. The reason is that I bought an ES 300 president line because I couldn't take all my grandchildren with me.

At the Dutch Lexus SC forum-site someone wrote that you can upgrade your "navigation middle-Europe" with a NAV-disc from a Toyota Landcruiser 100 from 2014, the Lexus dealer in the Netherlands knows nothing maybe someone in the UK knows if it's possible?

Hello Steve, Finally I've found the right adapter for my SC430 - 2006 with all functions remaining on my steering wheel for CD, cassette and radio et cetera easy to install and working great. Dension GBL3T01 (toy/lex). USB, iPod, Bluetooth & iPhone including mic. with some cabling € 100,-- ! In my previous SC430 - 2007 I had installed a Pioneer 250 - 2Din and lost 50% of the functions from the steering wheel and the cover for the Pioneer didn't close anymore.

In The Netherlands the road tax is calculated by weight of the car, so I've a Lexus SC430 - 2007 weight 1824 KG per year €1100,00 and p/month €91,00 also depends in what province you live ! And we already complain about our government that they are stealing! Because from the € 4,3 billion they collect our roads should be like a red carpet but unfortunately our road contractors and stakeholders are corrupt!

The point is when you have bought it from a Lexus dealer ( 1 month ago with 74500KM SC 430 -2007 import from Italy)with a warranty of 1 year red carpet treatment and they explain that they never change the transmission oil from cars older then... what to do, because as previous reaction someone wrote they might be blamed and repairing costs are till €3000,--. for an automatic gearbox as I remember from my IS250 F sport. In The Netherlands Lexus (Amsterdam and Breda) told that they only add oil but never change it with older cars? But when you look at YouTube (item auto-gearbox) no mechanic engineer advice to change the oil because of shifting problems.

If the transmission oil never have been changed from the beginning you should only top up if necessary! In the Netherlands and Belgium Lexus advice not to change only add transmission oil when the mileage is over 100000 KM! I'm interested what Lexus UK advice?

I've just bought ( previous sold with 180.000KM) an other SC430 2007 with 70000KM withthe original Radio/CD/CASS 86120-24370 and want to connect an interface for connecting; USB stick (music)-MP3-iPhone. Apart from the best interface option there is a problem with the connector for a SC430 that are offered on the internet because the unit has only two plugs/connectors and for that I don't know which interface i have to choose. For example Grom, Yatour, Mantson and Dension but not with the connector/plug that fits according to me when you look (photo)at the back of my radio unit. Questions what is the best "interface" for the SC430 and what adaptor and or plug fits?

I don't think UK differs from Europe or Eastern Europe? According to me the best tires for my SC430 2007 are " Michelin P sport 4 S " and " Pirelli P Zero" both summer and winter tires In other words " all season tires" are only good when you're driving maximum +/- 100 km/h. Apart from that what is the height of the lines in the UK? When you drive a motorcycle it's normal to take this into account!

Hi Colin, when you speak about missing the markings you should show a picture because I've a SC430 2007 with a kind of foil but the other SC430 I've just bought has a metal console with P R +N SD -. and that looks great. If that is what you mean..?

Dear all, I've sold my SC430-2007 and bought another SC430-2007 from Lexus-Italia with only 58000KM and the interior as brand new. What I can say the Lexus SERVICE -Breda in The Netherlands is unprecedented ! As in my previous remarks on this forum I had some problems with TPMS and some other imperfections when I've bought the SC 430 but the model is priceless. In about two weeks I will pick up the car. The exhaust original will be changed and the IS-F 19" rims will be transferred with the spacers. Before i've had a Pioneer SPH - DAB230DAB but I want to keep the original radio/ cd-player but only want to connect my iPhone to the system. Question; what options are there to connect an USB-stick to the audio system? About Tuning I mean to have some more power because I like to drive in Germany over 250 km/h are there some items to improve such as the ECU? Exactly the same I've seen but do you know if it's by country they change because the one I've seen came from Italia and in The Netherlands only with spare tire? Probably a late SC430 model because mine is from October 2007 and without. Thanks for the info.

I've a SC430 2007 with in the trunk a spare wheel but when I was in Italy I saw a 2006 with in the trunk no spare wheel but under the trunk mat a jack and some other tools. My question if this is a 2006 sc430 and has it a 6 speed transmission.

Where to buy electric schemes & maintenance workplace books for SC430-2007? On ebay (USA) they are rather expensive also the transport costs to The Netherlands.

Indeed you're right about plastic welding but interesting who has repaired this ; it's an official Lexus dealer in The Netherlands who has repaired this anyway I've wrote an e-mail and after my holiday they will fix it . How I don't know? They also told that they never change the gearbox oil (SC430)only refill because of damage? I've read an article about this and the argument is that if you've never changed it regularly they are afraid to change due to the fact of wear . Is anyone familiar with this?
