    Another thread on here has lead me to ask this. When in cruise control with radar assist on and another vehicles cuts in front then slows down, does my brake lights come on as my car automatically slows down to match the speed? I've never thought to look.

    I found the Premium edition gave almost enough, but wish memory seats were an add on option without having to go for the full premium pack.

    I traded in an Audi S-Line for my recent ES and remember saying exactly the same thing, very uncomfortable and noisy ride, couldn't wait to get rid of it, never said goodbye to it, just abandoned it on the forecourt. I made sure (by a good test drive) that the ES was the car for me. I wasn't interested in a car that even mentioned the word 'sporty', wasn't interested in sport suspension, low profile tyres, large wheels, hugging seats or fast acceleration, just plain old fashioned quality and comfort. I made the right choice.

    After reading confusing reports as to whether fitting mudflaps to a vehicle constitutes a modification l have just checked with LV and got this reply, which I'm happy about as they are on order.

    I think that his assessment is spot on and that's what made me buy one. I didn't want anything that mentioned 'sport' anything that 'slid' round corners, anything that made a 'noise' or anything that said 'I want a race'. I'm quite happy with what I got.

    There's nothing like a bit of attention to detail (you are Lexus owners after all). Ok, maybe a bit OTT for most of us but good luck to the guy if that's what makes him happy.

    Depends how you drive, but you should easily get 500+ miles from a full tank with all motorway use.

    I've bought a range of Garage Therapy products. Their interior cleaner is leaving streak marks on the spongy feel vinyl dashboard panels, however it's fine on the hard plastic panels. What are you guys using on the soft touch panels?

    I've never thought the ES saloon was a 'looker' but IMO that's even worse. No doubt it would be an excellent 'shooting brake' as my old dad used to call them.

    Did you guys have to pay any import duty on your mud flaps that came from China? My order (ordered from the same eBay link) totalled £15.30 including delivery but I'm sure one of you have paid around £25 for the same thing.

    Yes at £360 I agree they are expensive, but I'm more than pleased with them.

    Can I ask if you have fit these or intend to fit to your 2022 model? I would like to order a set if you think they would fit a2022 model ES Premium edition.

    Three weeks after I placed the order for the car I tried to add it as an extra for the cost of £290 as shown on the price list, but was told the order couldn't be changed as it was 'being processed' so the dealer quoted £410 as an after fit. I managed to bargain it down to £360. I've automatically assumed it's just for the front 2 but having looked in the manual it does show a diagram of the internal lights and shows all four with the wording 'if fitted' I very much doubt it will be for all four, that's not the sort of luck I get!

    I can always admire someone who sticks out for exactly what they want, good on ya. You will quickly forget the cost.

    l see where you're coming from but l would rather have subtle/class rather than brash, however my ES is going in on Tuesday to have illuminated cill plates fitted.

    What colour interior did you order? We went for Black. I was worried that Sonic Platinum might turn out to be a little Aluminium looking being as though we only had the small sample Swatch to go off. However we are pleased with it as it turned out to be more of a silver grey that changes slightly in different light.

    Blower drier with heat option. This is the one the guy who did my Ceramic coating uses. He gave me a demo with it and I was quite impressed. The idea being the less you touch the paintwork the longer and better the coating lasts.

    Just ordered one of these to go with the kit. Can't stop spending since I got the damn car.
