    I bought this one a few months ago. It was recommended by the guy that did my Ceramic coating. It is very powerful but quite loud and has a dirt filter to stop you sand blasting the car (quite easily done with garden blowers). Once you get the nack of how to use it, it's very quick and efficient.

    I've now been in OZ for 6 weeks and despite looking at every car, this is the nearest l've seen to an ES Hybrid. Sorry for the bad picture it's a rather old ES 300.

    As for the manual, find the page you want and type it into the page box and you will go to that page. As my driving style is like yours l told my dealer that l didn't want anything to do with 'sport', no sport suspension, no low profile tyres, no mention of sport in the name and my ES premium edition is the perfect ride, or it will be when they sort out the rattle.

    I understand your frustration about the wait for your 22 model and l can accept your disappointment that you are not getting a 23 model especially as you were prepared to pay the extra for it, but what l don't understand is why you have cancelled? You ordered a 22 model but because you are not getting a 23 model you have cancelled. If you wanted a 23 model why didn't just wait and order one? I will gladly be corrected if l have got this wrong.

    I've been in Australia for the last month and although the ES is supposed to be fairly popular here, l have yet to see one, plenty of RX's though.

    Very first thing l do is turn off LTA when l start the car, l enquired at the dealer if this can be turned off permanently like other models but apparently not, it defaults to on each time ignition is turned on.

    The timing was way off when I got the message from the dealer that mine had just left the factory, it was at the dealers 10 days later, although I didn't track it myself.

    At night the clock numbers in my ES are evenly illuminated white, but recently I've noticed that a partial backlight flashes on and off randomly, by partially I mean a 10 minute section will flash on and off and then a different 10 minute section will do the same, this flashing is in an amber colour. Any ideas???

    I never got round to configuring my multimedia device in the my Lexus app as it asks which device is mine and gives 4 options;- Lexus EMVN Lexus premium navigation generation 1 Lexus premium navigation generation 2 Lexus premium navigation (17CY) How can I tell which mine is?

    The **^%$"+*** rattle is back again just as bad as before. Going in yet again but not until the end of September due to holidays.

    Yes, there is movement of the shark fin but no more than I would expect. The threshold flexes quite a bit more than I would expect too. The rattle has been sorted again, but this time I went out with the tech guy and he found the problem as we drove along. The steel frame of the sunroof was vibrating against the corresponding frame in the roof. So hopefully all sorted.

    It certainly is a strange noise. It now only does it on very smooth roads at all speeds but not all the time. If I travel on rough bumpy roads it's as quiet as a mouse. I can't seem to get this across to the dealer though.

    Got it! I removed and reinstalled the app and it now shows the EV and non EV sections on the trip maps.

    Nah! Can't get any of that info no matter how l try. I either can't or don't know how you even manage to screenshot your info page on here. No info on my PC either in 'My Lexus'.

    The dreaded Boundary Mill roundabout! Incidents are worse since they made the left hand lane for turning left only coming off the motorway. I've been forced to go into the Boundary Mill to avoid being side swiped, that's in addition to the wife forcing me to go to Boundary mill for shopping, He he.

    Thanks for that, however I don't get that EV-Non EV info on my android phone. I wonder if it's an iPhone thing only?

    Can I ask where you get that info from? My 'Lexus Link' app doesn't show 'EV time' or 'EV distance' but does show 'Hard braking' and 'Hard acceleration'.
