  1. Called LV (insurance) as mine was cracked which takes you straight through to Autoglass, so booked the job and the lad turned up this morning. First thing he noticed as he drove in (he said) was that my offside wiper arm was not the correct fitting for my car & that rang a bell as I have had an issue with the offside wiper being noisy since I bought the car. Once he had pointed out that at rest the wiper should lie flat along the heated element section I could see what I had been missing for so long and as he said it looks like a nearside arm from another Lexus model. Anyway as it was a Lexus approved vehicle I called Listers Coventry to let them know what had been found & service tell me that they will be looking at the pictures I sent them. Apart from that a very smooth operation from Chris at Autoglass who certainly knew what he was doing and I would certainly use them again, well hope not though.
  2. If you touch the bell logo (top right of page) it should show all notifications.
  3. Yes Lexus Coventry gave me the discount.
  4. Certainly sounds like clutch slip.
  5. All you have to do ………. Tell me about it as I knew they where just out to make us pay. Right now I am not happy that a Lexus car that I bought can be taken by some thieving shyster in minuets and “at present” there is nothing that Lexus can do to help (bye & large) Regardless of “where” I live, of what “precautions” I take “most” insurance companies it seems will load “my” premium to cover those areas where the bulk of thefts are taking place. Shysters plain & simple (IMO)
  6. So you can insure your excess (?) What a strange world we live in but useful to know, do you do this yourself ?
  7. A little more about the climate hoax agenda inc some from Saint Gore himself.
  8. I myself have not bought into the climate emergency twaddle and tend to view / read info like this that will of course never be shown on the MSM. The whole thing from day one was as bent as a nine bob note & the praise given to the likes of Al Gore should have told you all you need to know. IMO 😉
  9. We are “told” that CO2 is an issue but it seems not.
  10. The only person on top gear ever worth listening to (IMO) was Quinton Willson. Mind you that was when it was a program about motoring.
  11. Maybe to help this shyster ?
  12. Same here as we are currently in Shepton Mallet with the car being on the road for the most part, about to move to a smaller town in Devon where the car will be in a gated courtyard and the cost goes up when I informed them of our move.
  13. I see so again how strange ? I only gave the thread a brief read so cannot remember much about it but I wonder if the person was one of the royals that you have on most forums. You can often tell who the royals are as anything they post gets loads of likes from the rest of the clique members. Maybe I will get reprimanded for saying that. 🤫
  14. All I remember from the original thread was some of the abuse aimed at the thread starter What stuck in my mind was someone said (not in jest) that he should be in jail & now I read that it was the OP that was sanctioned ? How strange.
  15. My god the waste ! Nowt wrong with remoulds I say & when they wear down you can even recut some of them. 😆 Well they were on my last A35
  16. Non.S.Khan.Zone better known as NSKZ.
  17. What London needs is a NSKZ with some urgency.
  18. I may be linked to “if” the lights are on or off ?
  19. Watched a review some time back and to my surprise the snow socks beat the chains by a tidy margin. Doddle to fit compared to chains as well.
  20. Morning Bill Your story sounds tailor made for one of these Rip off Britain TV programs & a warning to many to avoid P&O. Good luck.
  21. A tidy piece of work Ahmed well done.
  22. BTW my post was tongue in cheek. 😉
  23. Yes a good point & I was about to edit my post above saying about those silly little warning lights that are fitted to a lot of vehicles “especially” for the rear fog hazard lights.
  24. I never put my lights on as the DRL’s are on all the time as are my dash lights. Now those idiots who keep flashing me from behind should stop as I find it dazzling at 1 o/clock in the morning as I can see where I am going. Lets be thankful for the above I have written as that is the norm nowadays where a few years back it was rear fogs on “all winter” regardless and never turned off even if you tried to fry them with a brace or two of Cibie’s from behind. In this day & age I simply ignore as the world becomes more ignorant (IMO)
