Just be mindful the copper grease is an anti seize product and not suitable for stopping what we see in the pictures above.

In many parts of Asia / Aus etc these are what sell the most (like the link I gave)

If you have the room (ie: a utility room) then a top loading washing machine is the way to go, easy to load, very flexible in use, bearings where the should be for long life. Like this ............. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184378170354?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Had one of these in daily use for a good 2 years now and can certainly recommend it (check online for deals though) Dyson are and have always been (IMO) plastic tat and it is beyond me why they are so loved ?

You know if they had said that the car was driven by a Sheepdog by the so called media & social media and then repeated it over & over & over again those same people would now be calling for the dog to be given a honour even after the video had shown it was a shark behind the wheel. No mention by anyone of course just why he drove into a hospital if he was suspicious ?

In the Olympic Park the official language is French and the "only" people who speak it there are the French (always amuses me) In fact if you are not an English speaker you will not even be there & that really pisses them off. Have to say though that some of my favourite vehicles have been French.

Shell V Power Petrol - Waste of money?
VFR replied to sheri1's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I will tell you what I found. Good few years back we loaded our van up to the gunnels and hooked our caravan onto the back to head off to Spain and the van had the pug non turbo 1.9 Diesel engine in it and yes we were well over the weight. Full tank of Jet diesel and off we set but as you can imagine it was not the quickest thing on the road, next fill was in France and by mistake filled the tank with V-Power. Strange we thought after a few miles as it had become a good deal quieter in the cab and it would pull a good deal better and that was obvious, so that kept being filled with this until journeys end. Had older diesel cars in Spain & as was the custom for most with old oil burners there you would fill the tank a week before its MOT with either Ultima or V-power to increase your chances of passing the emissions test. Nothing to do with Lexus or petrol cars I know but the stuff does work when needed. -
What you gain going down you will lose by going back up, will you not. 😉

Most will have by now seen the video ........... Car drives into the hospital grounds at speed. Car brakes hard and at that very moment it stops an explosion takes place. Driver exits the car a few moments later and runs. Driver is hailed a hero by most with calls for Knighthood / Medals etc etc Have I missed something ?

Yes but it was still hard to read 😉 -
From my experience / knowledge. France is a big country and years ago you could make quite reasonable progress of a day by using the RN's, now though the towns & villages can be very slow trying to get through them and with a high chance of falling foul of the law with lots of speed traps and sneaky changes to limits to catch you out (bit like driving through London nowadays) On our last run up through there I got talking to a French couple who advised us to stay on the Autoroutes and obey the limits at all times as in the long run it would likely be cheaper & from what I read on the web it has only become worse. Given the choice it has to be UK - Spain now as it takes all that hassle away from what used to be a very enjoyable run down through France taking our time & enjoying the good quality hotels & routiers but sadly no more. Ferry is not cheap of course as many of you know & to me a very boring crossing as well, but once into Spain and its all forgiven as life is so much easier there and a good deal cheaper than France. Of Portugal I have no knowledge.

Trying to shop in a supermarket while their online shop pickers block the aisles with those huge trolly's that will be in a certain area (the one you need as well) for some time as they have quite a few picks to do as well. I would have thought that a lot of this could be done very early morning should they be inclined or be able to get the staff. Now what about those shoppers who will not let go of the trolly ?, they are going down the right side and see something they need on the left, sharp turn left but the end of the trolly is still on the right so blocking the aisle 🤨

Indeed not it is just opinion on what I have seen when I also had a Motorola / Lumia (which I did like) Nowadays security is very important (as you know) and Apple are on top with very quick updates when an issue is found. I could go course buy a Vaux Zafira as it does the same job as my Lexus (well goes from A to B) and cost a fraction of a Lexus .................... 😉 Still if your happy then I'm happy.

Yes the iPhone. Traded my iPhone 6s in recently although it had been getting updates for years & as its battery had seen better days in 2019 I opted for a new battery from Apple but something went wrong as they were doing it so they simply gave me a new one. The trade in was somewhere around £70/80 ? and the XR price had been reduced I opted for one of those as it will be good for another 4/5 years no problem. Name me an Android device that has any updates beyond 2 years & should anything go wrong with it ............ ? (exactly) You know you could say that the iPhone is the Lexus of the Mobile world ?

Should you ever live in Spain that is normal occurrence & in the smaller villages they have seats for you to sit on while you wait. 😊

I do not know if this is true (its on MSN) but if so those involved need to have some real bad luck come their way & those in charge to be sacked. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/council-deems-parking-fine-issued-to-elderly-driver-at-covid-vaccine-centre-necessary/ar-AAQB1w4?li=BBoPWjQ

Disappointed with first service
VFR replied to Bounce75's topic in Lexus IS 300h / IS 250 / IS 200t Club
The offer of a screen wash/ice scraper says it all IMO Pathetic and patronising and not a place that I would use again and Lexus UK should be made aware of this (again IMO) -
That will do the job & if to watery spray a load onto a flat surface first allowing it to gas off (?) before using a finger to transfer to where you want it.

As said remove bolt and pop a small wire attachment on a cordless drill to have that all like new in 10min's, check the bolt hole while its off also & as Herbie said a touch of white grease to finish off.
