  1. Easily with enough cameras & just think what the payout from those could yield ? Now would those cameras be in the best places to enforce safety “or” in places that will gain the most revenue ?
  2. Had my car serviced yesterday & Lexus Coventry give you a 10% discount for those who have the Lexus owners club card so a tidy saving on a big bill.
  3. Never ever !!!! Try to lift any part of a vehicle that already has a scissor jack under it as it’s odds on the moment you try that it will cause the first jack to give way.
  4. Yet in somewhere like Benidorm you will see a “lot” of Prius’s on the taxi ranks.
  5. OE items from Lexusdirect (EBay) and very easy to fit yourself. Well they are on the RX so guess they would be on a UX ?
  6. Evening Bill Tried Heko in the past on other makes and (IMO) do not waste your time, yes they are cheap but for a reason. OE is the way to go (silly price though) and mine make no noise & allow you to open the window a “little” without rain coming in.
  7. The same thoughts here & once I drove one it confirmed it for me. Hybrid over BEV ?, used to think Hybrid was a stupid idea myself and that was based on ignorance mostly but I now understand a good deal more about them and reading about the sorry state of the EV charging infrastructure (except Tesla) here in the UK I would not even consider an EV if I could not charge at home. Even then they will so be making that as expensive as possible ?
  8. Thank you for your kind words. Update ………. Those Bosch wipers blades also made a noise on the TDC change over so as my son said (Dad just buy OE items) which I did again via Lexus EBay store so now no noise at all.
  9. I would certainly have some visible CTV that also alerts you so any scroats know that they are being filmed.
  10. Well yes I guess it does but you would need to reside at that post code & what happens if you go over that yearly mileage by a fair bit ? We are though thinking hard about moving to BA5 area so ran that through the same comp’ site and the quotes came out slightly more, I will look at the mileage though as the past year we have done nearly 10k on social and would likely cut that down a fair bit should we move.
  11. Thanks for that fourbanks. Tried the 0800 number (press 3 for quotes) and after waiting for about 15 minutes and enduring that dreadful music I gave up as if they take that long on a quote god knows how long it would be should you need them ?
  12. Maybe not as LV quoted me just shy of that. Like you a clean license for decades, 8 years no claim’s, have other policy’s with them (non car) that attract a discount, ST16 post code, full comp, protected, legal add on. I may try Toyota / Lexus myself as i never knew that was an option as “it may” be cheaper, do you have a link to them.
  13. Cannot recall seeing such a large tub of butter on the shelves, so when you look at the normal sizes the Lurpack seems to be about the same price as the others (more or less) Clever marketing ploy by someone ?
  14. Or ? Cut your losses and fit a set of 19 rims.
  15. From my experience of Spain. Yes Labour is a lot cheaper than the UK “and” garages will not shrug at fitting parts that you supply (have no knowledge of Lexus dealers there)
  16. Well you did ask. IMO it is tasteless regardless of any exterior colour.
  17. My thoughts would be to bin the gimmick filter and just run the machine as normal & reading from what you have just posted it would seem that it works ok then.
  18. Do you find them quieter than what you had fitted before ?
  19. One with full service history (?) Not much I fancy and from what I can see from the one I bought & from what I read they are real reliable pieces of kit so I have no doubt mine will reach 200k without any issues worth talking about (now where is that wood) Still what do I know (?) but you did ask. 😉
  20. On other makes of cars that I have owned that have a rear wiper I would keep one of the fronts when changing them to use the rubber for the rear, I used to remove the rear rubber & old front then cut to that down to suit. Now have a spare for the RX as a new set just fitted to keep for the day its needed for the rear should the above be an option on this car ?
  21. Same as the rest as it’s a no brainer with the warranty as part of the deal, without that then a good Indy every time.

My Nextbase 522GW. Once in the car I view all clips via the app on my phone All settings can be changed via the app. Formatting the card also & on live view I can check if what the camera is looking at is nice and straight etc as when cleaning the inside of the screen I remove the camera each time (it is mag mounted)

To my mind that trim on the pillar is designed to come off & on, it must just be a case of pulling it off, checking the clips are good and free to engage and snapping it back on. Would take a tech (as they are now called) no more time than it takes for you to drink a coffee so whoever fitted the camera should should be able sort this ASAP.
  24. Ceramic hobs in the kitchen are glass (are they not ?) That being the case use a ceramic hob cleaner as I have never scratched / damaged one yet and they come up super clean.
