  1. Bought one this morning and it was the minus -23deg concentrated type and yes a good price indeed.
  2. May pay you to check prices here ? https://www.amayama.com/en?utm_source=LexusOwnersClubUK&utm_medium=ForumLinks
  3. That was easy. Chances are that the arm is twisted towards the front (imagine you are the arm) So you will need to twist it towards the back (anti clock) but just a little, by little etc. Caution ! ………. When there is no blade on the arm say in the raised position, if the arm should then fly down towards the screen (it has a strong spring) it could well break the screen. So to cover that own goal (and stop you crying) have a rolled up cloth as a stop just in case.
  4. Had the same issue on mine using (at first) Bosch aero twin (?) but the drivers side shuddering on the way up, fitted a new set of OE Denso blades and the same issue. Had a close look and on mine and when parked (the wipers) I just put a little bit of upward pressure on the nearside blade and you can see it flip the blade over for the up sweep. As I tried the same on the drivers side it did not and stayed flipped over in its down wipe position, removed the blade and gripped the wiper arm at the flat section that holds the blade with a large pair of pipe grips. This I protected with a strong strip of cardboard to avoid any scratches to the arm and gave it a little twist by twisting anti clock in my case and then checking, sorted it first time and now quite as when parked they both now flip over on demand for the up sweep. Hope that makes sense, if not I will get some pictures up.
  5. Hmmmm would have been better “without any hassle” or is that what you meant ? 😉
  6. There are quite a number of private sellers on there.
  7. You may find this of interest as it lets us look inside & explains just what is going on.
  8. Also methylated spirits in the washer bottle works a treat at very low temperatures.
  9. michael temperino 3.0 out of 5 stars Don’t drop it while it’s on ! Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2019 Item works great ! But don’t drop it while it’s on , it goes up in flames . Thank god I was outside and was able to get a fire extinguisher . Images in this review
  10. Yes it could well heat the car, keep going down the page until you see the reviews section & pictures from users.
  11. If J *unt ran a charity shop in any high street he would try to find a way to fleece / steal anyone thinking of buying anything & would consider charging people to come into the shop as well no doubt.
  12. I know a Tesla has this facility to pre warm itself so guess other EV’s do as well. Why should a Hybrid not have it then if the battery has enough stored charge ? Ford have had heated windscreens for decades so why these are not now fitted to most cars I do not know (or maybe they are ?)
  13. Indeed as they are clearly giving you a load of caca el bull instead of addressing by our concerns / evidence and do do not leave you vehicle in the car of a prestigious company like Lexus to be treated in this fashion. Assuming what you have written if correct.
  14. EBay is awash with solutions assuming they suit ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303621964443?hash=item46b147829b:g:M04AAOSwlFVh3kgi&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8KB31Qviip%2BWAP6H8I%2BXc7nwstjdAafW%2F%2FpZ9wxGT47SZ7w268934Is96p4uPLpjotCCDNPSpY5MkZ3146tFwJvB5giQUrR4BxGfEGEppcYIciN1sVAL6MzkkQDqg2dC01kPgt8yFm%2FOzZyNbFHaRRAytlIt49LU7MtmaeHXP0o54QwuvPyt5i4AAmpeFOJk0ayB7W2dooziUFGzXR%2BI6klM%2BR0M%2FfI%2FjDpfxr9tev2rBOK7DV%2B2xDasai9r4MAcVATr%2FRVk1ldSE96Seez44eob3USfysZC1xMjfcCg8tD3DLvrpYJK4MP1rwer28sMAQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8La0d_8YA
  15. In that case the small service will do just fine (IMO) £300 plus for a brake fluid change is simply outrageous (plain & simple)
  16. Paid £1.66 (and a bit) at my local Tesco yesterday for their finest E10 shi**, well saint dumberg says its good stuff though.
  17. I am amazed that “any” new Lexus does not have auto folding mirrors out of the box in this day & age, or have I missed something ?
  18. So which dealership ? So we can avoid the place ourselves.
  19. One of the members used this company & gave a write up about it (I think) https://www.southwestrustproofing.co.uk/
  20. No. 😉
  21. I would have been tempted to ask if they also stocked any snake oil ?
  22. Sounds & looks like a worn bearing IMO.
  23. On a recent trip to Somerset from the midlands via the M5 the average speed was at most 50 mph. Frustrating for sure & pulled into 2 services that were bulging at the seams so drove straight out, but, my fuel consumption was good (real good) so keeping your foot away from that pedal on the right makes a huge difference (stating the bleeding obvious I know)
  24. Just be mindful that the “plan” is linked to “that” dealership, so should you be thinking off moving / not best pleased with the service etc ? Apart from that the plane does give a discount over the stand alone prices.
  25. It is not a Lexus dash cam, simply a nextbase one sold by them. Yes the 522 is a better camera and the one I chose also, bought it from Halfords using the club card for the tidy discount and had them hardwire it in after I had installed the front & rear myself (real easy) Still as its a new car simply get Lexus to fit them & you cannot go wrong.
