Or save £20k and add an Android head unit and get all the connectivity you need. Works great (wireless Android Auto in my case, but Carplay also supported). See my recent post on this.

Sorry to see so many things to fix on this car. I hope it was cheap! 134k on my 2007 model now, bought at 99k. It lived in central London meaning no rust. It had a new radiator before I bought it, and I had the cambelt/waterpump changed. I've only changed consumables (tyres/brakes) since (ignoring the plug replacement for now, it runs just fine and averages 32.1 over last 5,000 of mixed driving with lots of motorway and short journeys thrown in). Some cars seem to have leak issues, some none, seems almost luck of the draw. As for the 12V battery going flat in 1 week, it most certainly should not unless there is a parasitic drain. Mine sits in airport carparks for 2 weeks regularly. The 12V battery was not new when I bought it and still seems OK. Naturally I will replace it at the first sign of it being strained starting out of precaution. Best thing instead of faffing with a trickle charger is to keep one of those lithium jump packs in the boot (similar to a mobile phone power bank). I keep one and have started lots of other people's cars with it (remember, it is not good practise to jump someone else's car with your hybrid). I'm looking forward to hearing your car is running well and no more issues!

My 400H drips bucket fulls of condensation when I park it in the garage on a warm day, less when parked outside (but still quite a wet patch). Aircon is on all the time, no issues.

That is a harmonic vibration balancer thingy. Helps neutralise vibrations.

I don't think you need anything special, Carly or others which work via Bluetooth and an app on your phone are a good idea. only cost £20 to £30 or so.

Sounds like you sorted it with the Control/Alt/Delete you did, and the fault codes have now reset. If it comes back then I suggest buying an OBD fault code reader and clearing that way, or reading the codes if they come back to identify the issue (if not a major item then it could be something like a bad connection/frayed cable which is worse now it's been touched). Might give you a clue.

Arrived in 6 days from China. Looked a bit bewildering at first, but they sent me installation info and the wiring was pretty much plug and play. What was important for me was keeping the reverse camera in the top screen, and steering wheel controls working. I could configure the steering wheel controls to do what I want in the interface, so I now have a mute button on the steering wheel too which I hated not having before! (I used the 'speech' button). Here it is in action with Android Auto. There are a lot of apps/features without connecting your phone, they work fine too. In this image the top looks to be protruding a little, the clips are not all in place yet at the top, I think need a slight bend to make stay home, looks easy enough to sort. It really works well and doesn't look/feel too large. The interface is fast and the touch screen swipes quickly. Wireless Android Auto works fine (but they also supplied a USB connection/cable for wired which easily connects and comes through into the glove box). Will take some more photos later. .

One thing to be aware of is that most replacement mirrors are not tinted with the special liquid in the same way as the factory mirror. I have not replace mine which is 'running' for this reason, factory mirror is £350 ish (unless someone knows of a better source).

Yes it does, I would have kept a silencer there too though. Just remove the cat. Anyway, moot point, a great exhaust place in Leicester has had a look and declared the system in good overall condition and re-welded one joint and added a patch to another weak spot (near where the counter-weight thingy is). £90 all in. I'm happy.
