Hi Barry it looks very good, well done. Is the interior ivory with maple wood? I didn't realise how dirty mine was until I had it professionally cleaned. I haven't experienced any wind noise from my ns door mirror so it isn't a quirk of SC430's and so it should be able to sort it. Good mpg but don't expect that for short runs, hilly terrain and winter weather! Have you visited your local Lexus dealer so they can build you and your car on their system and check for any outstanding recalls and be prepared to book in for work or get parts prices. I have found them very helpful. Have fun and if you are ever around my way let me know and we can meet up. Anthony

Hi Steve I've not heard of Big O but that's not surprising as we don't have them in the UK. Although we do have Black circles and etyres who are very competitive on price. I go to a local tyre shop armed with the knowledge of what I would pay online and they get pretty close. They are a very friendly group of guys who are very happy for me to call in with any of my cars regularly to have a free tyre check and pressure check I think that level of service makes them the best value for me and if any of you guys out there can find that locally it's got to be a winner! I can't believe that none of you guys have enjoyed the glorious weather today and got some photographic proof! Just got back with Lexiguy Junior after having a run over the Pennines then round and back. We both loved our time out.

Brilliant weather here in the Pennines, I've been enjoying several local runs with the top down. I don't think it gets any better! Come on guys, get those tops down and share the pics!

Hi Barry Where are you collecting it from, when I bought mine there were two in the frame, a blue one in Glasgow and a Silver one in Bedford. I ended up with the one from Bedford because they offered to transport it up for me so I could buy it or send it back. I they had not made that offer I would have had a long journey from Yorkshire to either place! Not surprised you are excited, what colour are you getting and what day are you going? Anthony

My osr reflector lens on my SC430 has come adrift and dropped off. I need a new unit, has anyone got one I can buy or can send me a link to a reasonably priced one? Thanks

Hi Phil I know the colour you are talking about but I have only seen one in the flesh! Having driven several LS400 in the past I was always impressed by the engine and the quality, so when I finally got the opportunity to buy a convertible the SC430 was always going to be the top of my list! 1. We went over to Marsden. 2 Then over the Pennines to Uppermill. 3. Back over the Pennines to Saddleworth. 4. Then Lexiguy Junior having a icecream in Holmfirth. A great day washing it in the morning and enjoying a drive in the afternoon.

I have found a supplier who has been able to produce clothing with the Lexus logo and the model name embroidered below in a colour to match your car. Lexiguy Junior and I now have hoodies, t shirts and sports shirts for about £70 (all six items).

I think I may have seen it brother in Huddersfield recently!

Welcome to the club Paul. I wish you every success with your project and hope to see you at a meet somewhere in the country when they start up again. Since owning an SC430 I have been amazed by the level of interest the Lexus dealer network has in the model. They have been very supportive and helpful on contact so don't be afraid to introduce yourself to them and use there knowledge and expertise. Don't forget to tell us about your car, it's colour and trim and support with pics! Anthony
