Hi Neil I posted this on the meets page. Yes, Chris Fixter is still one of the organisers but the event will have a different form from the previous one. Besides the event is about getting together with other SC430 owners and enthusiasts, not who the organisers are. It would be great to see you and any others there and the weather forecast is brilliant!

Here is the ones on SCMODS website. He appears a sound guy on the YouTube videos he has put on line although he is quite disparaging about the Lexus Dealer network...but that is in the USA!

I have done a few hundred miles since I had the new exhaust fitted and I take back my thoughts it was too quiet, it's tone has altered and I think it is brilliant 👏 well done Tony!!

I believe I have noticed an improvement when I went from E10 onto Shell V-power E5. More responsive and more mpg!

Stop press!!! Could not find a loose connection but pressed everything connector and its working...that's saved me £1006.23 for a while but it's still on the list!

I have had a think and this is one idea. It would loose the old fashioned heater/sat nav control unit which would make the dash look much more modern.

I have developed a problem today, the top nav screen stopped working and the wood cover/flap would not open either! Has anyone met this before? I even had to use Google maps to find my way!!!

Hi there, I have a 2007 SC430 which presumably had the original disc in and I upgraded that disc. I am now running a 2017/2018 disc which I bought off ebay and works perfectly. Although I was warned that if I tried to go too new it would not work properly. To be honest I frequently use my phone and Google maps! Good luck, Anthony

Hi Stew No, I was not trying to get more power but Tony was quite certain that one of his exhausts would deliver that....and he knows more about exhausts than I ever will! I suppose any improvement is relative to the type and condition of the old one, it was after seeing the old one that was said and I firmly believe there has been a positive change. Regards, Ant

Hi Russ Yes it sounds good, I was a little unsure as to whether it was too quiet but on reflection it is spot on. No 3rd cat delete, new one in price, it is definitely more responsive, havn't noticed more mpg but I live in hope! Well the long awaited day came! On arrival at 7am I was called into the reception by Tony Banks who said he knew exactly what I wanted! I said single rear chrome ends at each side and I was thinking of middle cat delete. He asked why, and I said power increase to which he said no he wouldn't recommend it as emission laws are going to be tightened and when he has done it will be more responsive, much quicker and more MPG! I was then sent off into Leeds to await their call to return. The call came at 1pm and I returned and paid the bill. I asked for the old Lexus tailpipe ends back incase they are needed. It appears there is a fine balance between getting more noise but not increasing drone so I am happy with what I got. I am confident it is fabricated and fitted well so... happy days!

Hi Guys Thanks for your imput, I decided upon a clear one and applied it yesterday evening. After a good rain storm I will hopefully know the water ingress is cured! I would include a pic of the product I used but once again it refuses to upload it for some strange reason! But why will it then accept a screenshot???

Announcement!!!!! 😳 I need a handbook for the radio (that's my excuse) because I have just realised what had happened. TA (traffic announcements) was switched on which automatically triggers the aerial to power up when the ignition is switched on! Which all goes to show, we live and learn, even old gits like me 🙂👍

I have a water ingress into the boot after the rubber seal was pulled off the flange lip under the rear window for a localised smart repair. It is getting around where the seal clips onto the flange. Can anyone give advice on curing this problem or recommend a sealant for it? The photo shows exactly where.

Cracking good day here in Yorkshire, I had a great day in the Lexus top down enjoying the scenery. Her top is back up and she is ready lined up to go into the garage to bed for a well earned sleep!! I would include pic if the system would allow!! 😡

Hi Steve There is nothing worse than an intermittent fault because in my experience too, embarrassingly the fault never performs to order! I have even resorted to recording with video, faults performing or noises. Ant
