  1. Put my money where my mouth is and here she be. Probably the cheapest one in nz oz or jappan for a sum so modest its about what a 3uz-fe sells for here.

Needs a new bush or two. Boot release is a bity sticky and a new cog in the wing mirro wouldnt go a miss as it sounds like a coffe grinder but dam it it drives smoth and fast. 100% my faverit car i have ever driven by a country mile, insert tim the tool man taylor noises.

Il post a pick when shes been lowered and has new shoes Just wating on a air controller to pass customs.

Car is great -  reliable, comfortable, powerful. Luxury sport.

Does my car have those features? Not sure. It's supposed to be the same as a lexus 430, so if they have it I should to. How does the soft door close work? Do you press the door button?

One feature I can confirm is missing from the Crown is the valet lock. I know the LS430 has them, but I can't find the button in the crown.Perhaps I don't have those other features either.

Brisbane has some very steep streets. When I'm in the city, I release the parking brake with my left foot hard on the brakes - then use that to do a hill start. Once moving, remove left foot and you are back to normal auto driving. Works but always feels a little odd.

Never owned a lexus. so can't say. But the step up from the 400 to the 430 was a big one. I love my crown and it cost me less then half of a previous generation lexus with more mileage.

    Crowns are good!

Sorry to be that guy but the crown majesta is not the same as the ls430 that would be the celsior.

The crown predates lexus buy 40 odd years infact its the longest constantly produced sedan in the world. but for the most part has only been available new in Japan, bar short international runs in the erly days and in China in more resent times.

Due to lexus not being avalerbul internally in Japan untill 2009 there were a number of lexus modules sold under the toyota badge in japan, some off the top of my head are

    Lexus GS  =  toyota aristo

    Lexus LS  = toyota celsior

    Lexus IS   = toyota alteza

In japan the crown alongside the toyota Century were toyotas flag ship sadans over and above the celsior aka LS430 but when lexus became available in 2009 they rolled all the doubles into 1 badge under lexus and promoted the LS range to top spot.

As a rezolt the 12gen toyota crowns / 4th gen majesta are probably the high point of the 75~80 0dd years they have been made.

The Century is still Japans limo for the emporo so that may hold it in top spot over all.

    Love the lot of them.
