Nextbase Dash Cam

I'm a believer in the value of having a dash cam, and my last four cars have been fitted. I've heard of a couple of garages asking, at the time of booking a service, whether a dash cam is fitted. Something to hide? No such problem when the Volvo was serviced - I did see the bonnet raised, and later the car being washed. -

Like many others I have made frequent use of my C-Tek in the past year or two. From construction to dealer, say at least 6 weeks ( including 4/5 weeks in transit from Japan ) the 12v battery is not in use (albeit brand new). What does the dealer do concerning the battery, bearing in mind others have reported failure after a couple of weeks of airport parking?

Very very old thread, but I wonder whether times have changed? Audi came up with a rather nice umbrella Volvo provided two ballpoint pens which lasted a couple of weeks Mercedes made a big deal of presenting a key ring Toyota gave two dolls which the granddaughters appreciated. Not holding my breathe this time🙂
