  1. Amuses me that I'm chided for "braking too hard at that roundabout" or "there's room for improvement there." Also the percentage of fuel left in the tank.
  2. Season’s Greetings everyone. Thanks for all the information, banter and bonhomie you provide.
  3. Would recommend fitting ferrite rods to minimise / eliminate possible interference to DAB reception.
  4. The UX 12v is also in the boot. But it does not need to be removed for charging. I found a useful clip on You Tube ( sorry don't have a link ). In the under bonnet fuse box there is a red plastic part which if lifted will reveal a "positive" charge point. Obviously there are numerous places under bonnet to provide a negative. Worked the other week for me with the C-Tek. I'm sure your RX will be the same. Hope this helps.
  5. Agree with you Peter. Initially, I opted for a spec to be under the magic £40k On reflection, life’s too short and I’m really glad I went with the Takumi version.
  6. +1 Its a great piece of kit, well worth having
  7. Locally for me, DAB reception is acceptable, but not in other parts of the country, particularly for commercial stations. My UX has front/rear dash cams, as did my previous car ( Corolla, which had much better reception). In a previous thread on here, ferrite rings were mentioned. I found one in the dash cam box left in the car by the Lexus dealer. Easy to unclip the top rear door panel and attach to the dash cam wire. Having said this, I have yet to travel further afield to ascertain whether there'll be any improvement.
