We have a gs 300h f sport in black with the rose red interior very classy in my opinion but then I am biased 😉 whereas my F is silver with the red interior which is much more in keeping with the sporting nature of the beast .....
I find it just as easy to leave car in park that way there is no issue with the 12v battery going flat also keeps the ac running if it's a warm day likewise keeping warm on cold ones.. ...
Some members on here have experienced delamination of some interior trim parts with there GS Fs' ...thankfully not myself ....haven't heard of any exterior issues on LC though.
I believe technically you should always notify your insurance company of any incident
As soon as you inform your insurance company it will have a negative impact on your renewal invitation, claiming or not still goes against you as it is recorded as an event.
To my knowledge there are no Lexus dealerships in Chatham there is a Toyota dealership though.....I live in Sittingbourne....the nearest dealership would be Lexus Sidcup as the dealership in Maidstone is no longer after the Marshall transfer to Steven Eagel which is now Canterbury.
My service plan, set up when I visited Lexus Maidstone just before the dealership went to Steven Eagel, is valid at any dealership and not tied to any one franchise. Maybe it was due to the change from Marshall to Steven Eagel at the time.
Are service plans not administered by Emac ?, and as such it is not a Lexus product just the means of a finance house covering the service costs as and when vehicle goes for maintenance and or mot 🤔 ???
Carnoisseur sorted the space saver for my GS F and were very accomodating, so long as it clears the front calipers etc etc.
They were prepared to take the 'kit' back should there had been an issue with fitment.
Can I ask why there could be insurance implications ?.
I have a space saver for my GS F and save for having it laying in the boot I like the security of having it should an issue occur as I am not a fan of the gung supplied to allow a temporary fix that would lead no doubt to having to have a new (not cheap) tyre.
You pays your money, you makes your choice....can I ask why you seem "appalled" at those that do have servicing done at main dealer.
Don't have a pop at those that want security of having their vehicles serviced where they choose, I for one am not "clueless".....
I'm Sittingbourne...with luck the new premises will be up and running by my next MOT/service...I believe they have already earmarked a Land Rover dealership that has/is becoming available.
