    I think now with the Relax warranty being in place once the paid for warranty has expired/run out the MOT gratis also expires.

    My GS 300h (2018) went for its first MOT last year coupled with its 3rd Yr service and my dealer didn't charge me but that is probably due to the fact I had a service plan and extended warranty in place which I believe includes MOT as part of the deal.

    If the donor car is not running the only source is 12v and as is well documented on here hybrids only need to see 12v to enable the ecu to boot up.

    Providing the supply is taken from the load side (your side) of the meter to a new compact consumer unit it should be OK, must ensure that the appropriate rcd/rcbo/mcb rated is used to protect the new cable/circuit, just make sure you use an approved installation electrician conversant with the current 18th edition regs concerning ev installations and you should be fine, the survey you have should iron out any wrinkles prior to the install.

    I don't own an EV but I am a sparks and without going through the ins and outs on here if anyone wants to look on YouTube for Artisan Electrical there is a wealth of information (videos) regarding the processes and procedures for having an EV charger installed and no I don't work for Artisan just think the info would help anyone considering the electric route, as there is more to it than meets the eye.

    The first experience of my GSF was that first cold start up on my test drive of which I likened to god clearing his throat, don't get me started once it hit 4K revs, and GSF is more subdued (stock) than the LC on the exhaust front. Once you get bitten eh !

    I suspect a crisis coming....head will say hybrid, heart will say V8 once you hear the exhaust note....Good luck with the test drives 👍and enjoy whatever power train you decide upon as the LC in any guise will tur. heads.

    You can connect to the obd port as there are two pins that are constant 12v to/from the 12v battery as the cigarette lighter is controlled via ignition I believe

    I think that's your answer, the exhaust isn't getting hot enough at idle and moisture is collecting in the back box (boxes), but when the car is driven the exhaust heats up to such a temperature it 'dries' the water vapour before the exhaust gases exit out through the exhaust, I dare say if you were to rev the car whilst it is idling you would see water droplets emit from the exhaust (letting the car idle is possibly letting water collect in the back boxes making the situation appear worse)

    Looks perfectly normal to me, is it smoke or just steam upon first start up with low ambient temperature then dissipates once exhaust is hot ?

    😄 not wanting to upset the established outlet at all was a bit surprised to see Toyota/Lexus on Amazon ....I'll still use LPD 👍
