  1. Only on AT it seems
  2. I'll say mid £50k
  3. Where do we think this will drop to ?
  4. Now dropped £500
  5. Here's hoping the wheel guy knows his onions 👍...all will be revealed end of the month ish
  6. Thanks for the info Kieran...yes I have also noted there is not an actual colour code indeed I think it being a BBS wheel it might even be an in house bespoke for Lexus, a bit like the secret recipe for a well known fried chicken 🍗 🐔. The wheel doesn't need refurbishment as "fortunately" I only have scuffed the rim edge against the tyre with luck it can be sanded down and touched in 🤞 ....here's hoping.
  7. Hi all This question may have been asked at some point, but does anyone know what the wheel colour code (if there is one) or indeed the colour description of the standard GS F wheel ? Unfortunately I had a close encounter with a kerb due to dodging a badly parked car who had parked somewhat inconsiderately. Fortunately I do have wheel and tyre insurance (tyre not damaged) and a repair is scheduled for later this month, incase I get fobbed off with "this is not any easy fix" excuse I wondered if anyone has had any experience with cosmetic repair to one of the F wheel. Thanking in advance for any info.
  8. You could try these, they're what I swapped the metal caps over for. Lot cheaper for the four than individually from LPD....I have checked but they're out of stock atm.
  9. It would certainly benefit the GS F owners. Maybe exploiting their rareity, Lexus dealers do seem able to move them on with little effort as I highlighted in my other thread with Swindon apparently moving their blue one (Jay emm review car) quickly despite the premium price compared to the long suffering one on AT.
  10. Just seen this on Lexus Website. Is this a special halo model ?
  11. Well it looks like the dealer GSF (Jay Emm car) has sold as it no longer on the Lexus Web site ....a nod to buying from Lexus rather than outside the network it seems despite premium price tag.
  12. Not long left on MOT I see, might be favourable to put up for sale with fresh ticket.
  13. Maybe we should name and shame eh !!
  14. Very true statement but I must say my dealership (Lexus Sidcup) where I purchased my GS 300h F sport and still take for service etc were very good with regard to their customer care, upon inspecting my car prior to purchase I spotted some slight curb rash to nearside alloy, I duly mentioned it and it was taken care of before delivery, also to note upon having the car for approx one week I noticed some 'dents' in the front bumper not obvious to the eye but noticeable when the garage light hit it at a certain angle, luckily for me I had taken pictures of the car, like you do when making a prospective purchase, and low and behold there were the indentations almost like a parking nudge, car was taken back no quibbles, brand new RC 300h F Sport waiting for me as a courtesy car whilst dealer sorted the issue. Also a shout out to Maidstone who look after my F
  15. The rose colour never photographs well but when seen in the flesh in my opinion its classy ....typical Lexus!!
  16. Just noticed both the blue GSF are same registered plate area (Reading RF66 ***) also the Lexus one featured on Jayemm you tube channel....thought I recognised the plate RF66 HBB.
  17. I for one felt "safer" buying from the dealer especially with this type of marque/car (GS F) even with the known dealer mark up....never know keep hold of it long enough I might break even !!! 😂
  18. Very true the vehicle would be covered by the RELAX warranty, but, would any individual in the market for either of the GS F' on sale be more inclined to feel on safer ground buying from a Lexus dealer rather than from outside the network regardless of the price difference, RELAX, etc etc 🤔
  19. Hi all just seen a blue GS F for sale on Lexus website 66 plate same as the long running one that's on AT for considerably more money. My question is, will the near identical car for sale via Lexus dealer sell before the one that seems to have been for sale forever on AT ....place your bets please.
  20. Toyota/Lexus dealers were selling solar chargers a while ago
  21. I believe the 12v socket may only be in circuit whilst ignition is on/ready mode, once vehicle is switched off it may not be permanently live to feed back to 12v battery....better option to use OBD port where there is a constant 12v from/to the battery.
  22. Ironically I took my metal ones off and replaced with cheaper plastic type to prevent being nicked by some random who fancied them !!
  23. I do ......thankfully I'm not in the market for replacements just yet !!
  24. Top gear magazines take on this one.... https://www.topgear.com/car-news/v8-powered-lexus-500-f-sport-wont-come-uk
  25. My 2018 GS 300h had issues with its 12v battery, (after a lay up for a few months) despite the Lexus advice to keep it topped up in ready mode for once or twice a week it wouldn't hold charge for more than a couple of days and gave no end of grief, I did have it on a battery maintainer which did keep it "alive" but for peace of mind I had it replaced with original Panasonic/Toyota/Lexus battery (bespoke shape) which occasionally I hook up to the maintainer to prevent a repeat performance.....I have heard of some horror stories regarding the multi media unit going awry when swapping out the 12v battery leading to some rather expensive remedial work (on the GS).
